Chris G.I called Gene out to provide an estimate on replacing the sewer pipe from my house to the main sewer line in the street. His quote was $2100 for the entire service. He didn't realize until after his gave me his quote and the gas company came out that the gas line was right next to the sewer line, thus he couldn't use his heavy machinery to assist with the digging. He ended up spending 7 hours digging by hand the majority of the ditch to replace the pipe since he didn't want to hit the gas line. He finished the entire job at 9pm that night and stayed to the penny on his price. I was so impressed I gave him a 20% tip for all his hard work and difficulties with my sewer line.
