I live in the Hilltop Summit Condominium Association in Brookhaven. Paul Shank Plumbing was called by the Association to investigate a plumbing leak coming from my third-floor unit. Frank came inside my unit, flushed my toilet to confirm my toilet was the cause of the leak and charged me at a rate of $660 per hour, which is six times the hourly rate charged by my master plumber with 35 years of experience! Frank made no repairs and was on the premises less than 15 minutes. Frank could have replaced the seal on my toilet during that time to correct the issue but refused to do so. Instead of rectifying the issue, Frank spent that time speaking negatively to me of the neighbors below me. Likewise, during the time he was on the premises, I heard Frank put me down to the neighbors below me. Gary from Paul Shank Plumbing told me that to remove two toilet bolts, replace the wax toilet seal and put the same bolts in place would cost an additional $330. So essentially, they wanted to triple charge me for the same issue! Community plumber or no community plumber, they will never again, regardless of the circumstances, enter my premises! I would not recommend this company!

Recommended through an association initially.
They had to handle a toilet clog last minute years ago. Service was done 5/23/17. The price seemed fairly reasonable for the job done.

I think I was also lucky that they were available when they were.

I'm surprised there aren't more reviews for these guys. There are a lot of people to potentially look around at.

One thing I really like about Shank is that they are PA contract certified through the Home Improvement Contractor Information website:
