As part of the water line repair program thru St. Louis County; Shamrock Sewer & Drain LLC was given the contract to replace the water line from the meter to my house. There was no communication between me and the contractor until after the hole was dug 29 days after I was notified by the County. I believe the photos speak for themselves. They will not be getting any repeat busy from me.

Run far away from this ""company""! If you can call them that. This ""business"" is being run out of the owners house (Joe). They will double the price then walk on the job leaving everything unfinished and a mess. Horrible communication, Joe won't ever call to actually discuss anything.
We received an invoice for more than we were told it would be, questioned it, and we were told ""if you don't agree, go find someone else."" Now isn't that some great ownership!?!
They have no issue walking away from an unfinished, partially complete job, and tell you to kick rocks. Joe has the attitude of a 12 year old boy who doesn't know how to handle any issues if they arise, instead he will just simply walk from the job and not honor his companies word.
Joe himself even said ""I don't care if we told you a different price, sue me, they're is nothing in writing, it was Colton's (Joes employee) word"".

^^^ this is the person who owns this company. RUN!!!

Shamrock STILL owes me $9,608.43 back from my down payment after quitting.
DO NOT give a large down payment like I mistakenly did, don't give them anything. Seriously, run!

Steve was very prompt,courteous and knowledgeable. Had my shower/tub faucet replaced in 1 hour. (I already had purchased the replacement faucet. I don't know if they carry those on their trucks, so that saved some time.) I would probably still be disassembling the broken one. Then my joints would likely leak because I don't sweat pipes regularly. Do yourself a favor and call in the pro. In my opinion that was Steve at Shamrock.

Called at 4pm on a Sunday with a backed up sewer in the basement. Within 30 mins, they were in their way. I'm so thankful for Shamrock! Some things can't wait until the next business day, and this was one of those times. Thanks for being available. Steve was the best!! Very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. You guys rock!

They were overpriced with mediocre quality. I received no invoice or warranty even though I spent almost $400. David didn't want me watching his work, and when I went out to check he was talking on the phone but still charging me almost $200/hour. He used a hand drill to rotate the cable, not the big roto rooter machine. Cannot recommend them.

These guys were great. Extremely professional and completed the job as promised, despite a few unforeseen circumstances arising. They were well spoken to explain the problems, generous with their time on the phone and did a great job. Too many times, I find tradesmen are not responsive, slow to return calls or give explanations when they are off the clock.....not these guys. And this favorable review comes despite me spending more than I had anticipated due to an unexpected underground issue.

Got to my house quick and did an excellent job of clearing the sewer line at an affordable rate. It says the business is based in Pacific but didn't have an issues getting to me quickly in Brentwood. A good plumber is hard to find, call these guys!
