Shake plumbing has worked on a number of projects at our house, including installing new outdoor faucets, improving the installation of our well water filter system, and troubleshooting and updating our hot water heating system, and fixing stubborn drains. Alejandro and Ken have been highly responsive, including coming out on holiday evenings to fix a troublesome boiler. They are experienced and very knowledgeable --excellent at diagnosing and solving very complicated plumbing problems. And they do all very cheerfully. I am happy to rely on them and heartily endorse them.

Ken came out the day we called and very quickly diagnosed and remediated the problem with our heating system. While he was here he set up an appt for 2 days later to return and conduct a much needed full service on the system. So happy we found him!

My recollection is that Shake does not accept credit cards but they do take checks. Ask when you call. As far as quality of work, Ken and son Justin are excellent and reasonably priced. We had a leaking toilet (yuck.) Ken made a point of showing me what was wrong: the flange under the toilet was too thin and someone had put a new wax ring on top of the old one. If you ever install a do it yourself bathroom floor, take note that you need a new flange the same thickness as the flooring. Highly recommend Shake plumbing.

Ken Shake at Shake Plumbing & Heating just did a number of fix-ups for old plumbing.

His work was excellent, his bill was competitive and most important . . . he responded to our calls, let us know when there was a minor delay and otherwise was there when promised!

We called a total of 5 area plumbers and even had two come out and see the jobs. None of these ever responded again.
