This was my first experience with Shaka. Neil was great! He got caught in traffic but called to let me know he'd be late. He was REALLY caught in traffic (an accident evidently ahead of him) that made him over an hour late. We needed a kitchen faucet (from Costco) installed. Neil said he was very familiar with that brand and was done in less than an hour. After he was done he said he felt bad being late so he gave me a discount. Wow! Someone who take responsibility for their actions! Amazing! Originally I called Alpha Omega Plumbing but the owners had moved to San Diego (so Neil told me) and Shaka was taking their calls. I'm so glad they did! Thanks Neil and Shaka for a job well done!

Scheduling service was a breeze and when he showed up he instantly knew what the problem was and had the parts on hand to change out the defective pieces. His pricing was also very reasonable. I contacted Shaka Plumbing (Neil) to help with my draining system in my yard. Due to the recent heavy rains, my backyard was flooding, due to clogged pipes. Neil was very helpful on the phone and was able to set up an appointment within 48 hours. When he arrived, he spoke with my husband about the whole process and exactly how much the cost was. Lehi from Shaka plumbing is possibly the most helpful and nicest plumber I have ever met. We called him to locate a cesspool and after he had worked hard and was unable to access the sewer line he didn't even charge us. He was full of very useful information and was extremely friendly. Neil at Shaka Plumbing was great! Really good communication - he even gave me a courtesy call right before our appointment to let us know he was down the street and would be arriving shortly. Very prompt, professional, personable, and was able to fix the problem within the timeline and estimate given over the phone. Like most people, I'm always weary about what kind of professional quality you get when you meet a tradesman for the first time, but I'm glad I made the call to Neil. I will shamelessly endorse this guy.

Down right the most honest, kindest, professional service I've ever received!!! While my husband was out of town my main water valve to my home and water was leaking down the road. Shaka plumbing face timed me to help get the leak to slow down. I was still leaking pretty bad so they came and got it to slowdown until they could fix it on Monday. That's not even the best part, I initially started calling plumbers on yelp....Do It Right Plumbing told me it was going to cost me $5,000 and not to call other plumbers because they would just over charge me. I text them pictures and was like it's just a valve leaking, but they said it was still a $5K job. Let's just say Shaka didnt not even charged me $1K....actually it was under $500, and they came out on the weekend and Monday morning. I'm so thankful for honest people still in this wold. That is what you will get with Shaka Plumbing HONESTY!!! Thank you so much, leaks dont have to be a nightmare anymore, I will never call another plumber!!!!

They quoted $130. They did not repair the toilet leak and charged me about $300 for replacing tank parts (flapper, handle) and that was NOT the problem. 29 days later we finally noticed that the toilet STILL had this very slow leak. Blue copper stains were evident that it had been leaking for a long time. Neil and Nick refused to fix it unless they were paid again... $200-300 more?. They said my call was 31 days later and they only warrant 30 days. I called another plumber who fixed it in 20 minutes with a $130 quote. That other plumber said Shaka was inexperienced and should have known where the leak was. It was so obvious what needed to be replaced. A simple rubber gasket in the copper connection was old and replaced. Leak stopped and toilet works perfect now. I feel that I wasted $300 on Shaka Plumbing plus my time and patience. I will say that Neil and Nick were friendly and nice. But they do not conduct honest business. You are taking a risk hiring these guys.
