We had a problem with our bathroom in our shop. The original cast iron trap had cracked and was leaking out into our shop area.
We called one plumber who saw it and said it is beyond what he can do and recommended Shaffer.
We called Shaffer and Ty came out looked at the situation told us he can get it fixed, gave us a price and got to work.
The work was done quickly and the price quoted was even cheaper!!!
These guys are awesome, and I highly recommend them!!

I am giving this review 2 star because;
I called Shaffer Plumbing and reported my water heater pilot light was not staying on. I did receive a quote from Russ when he came to my house for XX dollars which was a fair price.
I called the manufacture, and was told that the Thermo coupler was defective and the water heater was covered under warrantee for parts. The manufacture said I would receive a package with all the replacement parts and instructions to repair it.
Not knowing that the parts would be much more than expected which involved a new Pilot light, igniter, thermo coupler, and new mounting brackets, gaskets everything was to be replaced.
An employee from Shaffer Plumbing was sent to my house to do the repair he was there for one purpose only, it seemed, and that was to install the part and get out in his allotted time. He pulled the new Thermo coupler part off of the new bracket with the new pilot and igniter cutting the new rubber grommet with his pliers probably, then he cut the old grommet on the water heater so he could attach the part to the old existing water heater pilot bracket , http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k212/dkr9925/20150605_133855.jpg
Instead of asking me if I wanted the complete replacement part replaced which would cost more in labor. ""It will take me more than 4 hours to replace this "" He didn't bring the right tools to do the job either, he needed a short Phillips screwdriver to remove screws inside the cover plate, he didn't have one, so he said. So I loaned him one of mine, all he brought was a regular Phillips and a pair of pliers . He was in such a hurry to get the part in and completed he forgot to tighten the supply line to the burner box it was only finger tight, I came by a few hours later to check on the heater and smelled Gas, I sprayed the parts with leak detector and it was a pipe that he worked on, I found that the leak was in the supply pipe to the burner, I then tightened it and made it safe. It could have set my home on fire or I could have had an explosion.
I personally will not use, recall or recommend Shaffer Plumbing for any service in my home and you shouldn't either.

Have used company twice and on both occasions plumbers have shown up on time and completed work quickly and efficiently. Second job turned put to be one-fourth of initial estimate when they found easier fix to the problem. Highly recommended.
