Bob presented me with three options for repairing the shower drain, and explained them thoroughly. He then performed the work quickly and the job looked beautiful when he finished. And the price was very reasonable. I am very pleased and will use them again.

Very poor service. First off, if you talk to a Brian, hang up immediately. I was given attitude the very first call I got. He was very reluctant to send someone out. Why? You're getting business? Finally he did on his own. Second, he didn't even fix the problem! He "temporarily" fixed it, which was for 3 hours, the home was back up to over 80 degrees. There is a 9 month old child in the home with an illness, and this guy doesn't even make an effort to find a solution, he leaves it back up to us to find someone else to fix the problem. THIRD, he still has the guts to charge me $300!!! All he cared about was his damn money. If I knew I was going to get such shitty service, I would have never called him. Go with someone else.

Chris C. from Shafer Services was prompt and courteous. After interviewing us about the nature of our plumbing problem ( water heater that would no longer heat), he got to work assessing what our options were to address the problem. He presented two options, discussing the pros and cons of each along with the cost. After we decided which way to go, he proceeded to complete the work in a timely and thorough manner. Upon completion of the job, he cleaned up the work area and our plumbing problem was solved to our satisfaction.

I'm so glad that I got the service plan from Shafer Services!
The city of San Antonio makes me do annual water system checks and I came across Shafer Services. They had a plan that included my 1st water system inspection for the city and a free summer and winter a/c system checkups every year!

I always get Rodney and he is always very helpful and gives us lots of options to fix or repair our things.
My favorite option he always puts down on his observations & suggestions report is "or do nothing $0" Always makes me laugh.

I'm glad to have Shafer Services as my provider of choice =)

Purchased a deal off Angie's List for Shafer to perform the backflow preventer test on my sprinkler system that is required by SAWS. I was able to get an appt within a quick time frame. The tech was delayed due to an earlier job taking more time than expected but the company kept in contact with us throughout the day to provide an expectation of when the tech would be at our home. The service provided was done in a reasonable time frame. The tech was professional. He did tell us about other services the company offers but he was not a hard sell. I would recommend this company. They were professional, courteous and got the job done as expected.

I'm very impressed with Shafer Services. The were both friendly and expeditious!

About two hours ago, I called Shafer Services and a second plumbing company for repair estimates. I explained that as I was about to leave for a trip when I noticed a leak in my downstairs bathroom. The leak was coming from the upstairs toilet supply line. I explained I had to leave ASAP as I had to meet customers that arrived a day early. The dispatcher at Shafer called me back within a couple of minutes and advised a driver was enroute to my home.

Chris C. arrived shortly after and diagnosed the problem. It was a much easier fix than I had expected and he had it completed within 20 minutes. He fixed it before the start-time of the 2nd plumber's "Arrival Time Window". I was able to call the 2nd plumber's company and cancel his appointment.

Although the bill was higher than I expected, it was well worth the call. I will be able to leave shortly without any worries of the leak.

I have rated the company 4 instead of 5 because it was a bit pricey. The service I received was outstanding and I will try to use them again in the future because of their great service!

Give them a try! You won't be disappointed!

I contacted Shafer for a second estimate on a cracked and leaking sewage pipe under my home. Del S. arrived and gave me a very thorough and simple explanation (drawing included!). His quote, which was on the spot, was within
$30 of my original quote and I felt completely confident that they would do a wonderful job. I did not use them this time, only because the original company was also good, quoted fairly, and did much more initial investigatory work to find my problem. I will certainly use Shafer for future needs and highly recommend Del S. He was wonderful!
