Recently one of our neighbors had an issue with the cast iron sewer line running from their house to the street, causing thousands in damage and the need to replace the line, which was also thousands of dollars. Since my house was built by the same builder around the same time, I decided to have someone check the line with a camera. Shackleford's responded to my request quickly and quoted me a price that was quite reasonable. They put a camera in the line and checked it out-it turns out that we also have a cast iron sewer line going from the house to the street, but ours was just fine. They easily could have sold me a $5000+ sewer line replacement as I wouldn't have necessarily known from the camera image that there were no real issues with the line, and I greatly appreciate their honesty-as I know from experience that many providers are not as ethical. The staff was courteous and helpful, and I will definitely call on them again!

Scheduled an appointment to inspect/repair a water heater they installed for our builder. Builder's warranty has run out and we called Shackelford's to inspect our malfunctioning water heater. Appointment was scheduled for 9 am and as of 9:20 no technician.

Called and receptionist argued that they did not have an appointment scheduled today. I said the appointment was scheduled through the owner. She then said she would cal him and call me back.

Receptionist called back and said that they had scheduled another job over us and would not be coming as scheduled. She further stated that maybe they could come later or another day. No apologies, nothing. Don't do business with this in professional company. They don't care about customer service.
