I have 35 years of experience in home improvement services, including electrical, plumbing, and fine carpentry, mostly in older homes and apartments. I know the challenges found in historic structures: ELECTRICAL CONCERNS: knob and tube wiring, missing grounded circuits, and overburdened circuits. PLUMBING: ancient supply pipes and century-old faucets are easily managed. CARPENTRY ISSUES: crooked door frames, entry door security hardware, faulty door knobs and locks, windows that don’t function, etc.
