I just called to get an estimate on a drain cleaning for a clogged sink. The guy that answered the phone responded with, "you're calling to get an estimate on a $50 drain cleaning? Yeah, I'm not doing that." Then he hung up.

Rude and conceited. You're a plumber, and this is specifically what you do. How am I supposed to know that cleaning a drain is beneath you? If the job is too small for you, say you're too busy. Y'know, customer service?

I have to assume most of the good reviews on here are from friends and family, rather than real or satisfied customers.

Was here at 6am ready to work, was scheduled for 7am, so we let him start early. Put TV camera down sewer vent hole to where the problem was. Broken pipe in main 4" line.. Real problem was house was built before 1970's and therefore had no built in sewer cleaning port. Dug 7 foot by 2 foot trench, 3 feet deep to access and replace broken pipe. Installed a dual cleaning port in with repair, so will be very easy to clean out in future. Dual cleaning port allows access to both the part of the sewer going to city drain and back into the house. Cleaned up sewer from main sewer line, roots and another cracked pipe also. 5 hour work with plumber and helper, fast and efficient, even in 100 degree heat, and very affordable, less than half what other sewer company quoted just to clear pipe, i got that and cleaning port installed. May need more work in future years, will call again as i feel going with honest people like sewerTV doing great work and great prices is better than all the other scammer plumbers.

We had major issues with our pipes underneath our house and had the job bid out by two other plumbing companies who wanted to charge us an arm and a leg to replace the pipes. Dave and his team came out and recommended relining half the pipes and cleaning the other ones out. He also installed two cleanout drains. The job was completed at a fraction of the cost of getting new pipes and saved us from pulling up our floors! We would recommend Dave and his crew to anyone with a similar problem. He was very efficient and timely!

I am writing this review because of my sister. Her husband is a disabled vet and she was told by another contractor that she had a problem that would cost her thousands to repair.
She called to tell me that this man named Dave came out, told her that he didn't think it was what they told her it was. He then proceeded to tell her that he would find out and fix it for her...
Then he told her that he wanted to 'give back'...and he wouldn't charge her for the work. She protested and he insisted that this was something personal he wanted to do. Through her tears she allowed him to do the job...A job that took him and two others seven hours to complete.
My sister doesn't use a computer..both she and her husband are disabled.which is why I am writing this review...because I was so amazed that there are such wonderful people in this world.

We had problems with tree roots in our sewer line and had to have them jetted twice. After the last time we were told we needed to line the pipes so we had Tom Moffett give us a quote and they quoted Us $20,000. Then we found Sewer TV on the next door neighbor app and they quoted us $5000. They just finished the job and we couldn't be happier. They were quick and clean. I highly recommend Sewer TV!!!

Dave is the best plumber ever! He fixed my shower in a matter of minutes and charged me nearly nothing. He is as good as it gets, that is for sure. Rescue Rooter quoted me $5,000.00, and another said the job was beyond his ability. Dave is on time, honest, has integrity. He knows his stuff. He saved me !!! I will never call another plumber. You wont be disappointed, give him a call.

Don't waste your time with this contractor. He comes off very rude and demeaning and has no people skills.

The high yelp rating is obviously due to friends and family.

Thanks for the recommendation Dave, I will go to the Pennysaver and I'm sure none of them will be as rude as you. Any by the way, being a "contractor" isn't so special... There are many contractors that have people skills that your profession requires.

Dave was a pleasure to work with. He came out to our home (on time, every time - I was impressed!) and ran a camera down our line free of charge (others quoted me $100-350 just to come out and look). We had several issues, all of which Dave took the time to clearly explain.

Not only was Dave's quote up to 40% lower than the other two companies who came out, he was also doing a more comprehensive job. The other bids I received planned to only line the portion that was cracked, whereas Dave lined all the way from home to sewer (~30 ft more). He also installed a new two way clean out and removed our original clean out that the previous owners had set in the center of our courtyard.

In addition to the above, Dave originally quoted us for 10' less of lining (accidentally forgot to include the distance from the new clean out in our quote). He honored his original quote regardless AND rodded out a blockage we had in our kitchen/laundry line no cost.

I've had pretty hit or miss luck with jobs at my house - I'm so used to things going wrong if someone is not hovering over their shoulder and constantly checking in to make sure everything is being done appropriately. With Dave, I felt very confident in his abilities and by the 2nd day was trying my best to just let him do his thing, though I continued to check in out of general interest (and old habit...sorry Dave!).

Based off my first experience with SewerTV and Dave, I'd be glad to work with him again in the future.

Dave was terrific. He gave me lots of practical advice and strategies to keep my pipes in shape. This is an old house with many additions through the years. He also found some areas of concern that will help me budget for the future. I am very appreciative for his advice and saving me money. His camera look showed me exactly where the trouble was. Friendly and nice!

Dave is the best OC has to offer as far as honest and great work is concerned. We had issues moving into our new home and the commercial plumbers completely took advantage of us. We called Dave and he was up front and honest. Did not put the screws to us and forever going forward, he will be our trusted advisor and plumber. I highly recommend Dave for anyone's plumbing needs.
