I would not recommend Sewer Surgeon to my worst enemy. 4.5 years ago, 2 young men installed my water heater. They were professional and friendly during my service. Fast forward to present day, my water heater is having issues due to what we have been told by another licensed professional that it was from a bad installation. The installers from Sewer Surgeon used hose clamps in 2 places which should never have been used. This caused a slow leak over the years leading to the damage we have now. When speaking to the owner- Andre, he lied and said he did not use the hose clamps and refused to fix the problem. He was rude and raised his tone of voice towards me, even after asking him several times to stop yelling at me. Never once did he try to take responsibility for his mistake nor offer any apologies.
The owner could have approached this situation in a more mature and professional manner. Whether he felt he was in the right or the wrong it DOES NOT warrant the unprofessionalism he used to speak to a customer.
DO NOT USE SEWER SURGEON!

We smelled a gas leak, and the gas company turned off our service. Sewer Surgeon came out same day and worked until every leak was fixed--thirteen separate leaks! They tracked down each one and repaired them. They communicated well, always letting me know when they were coming and when they had to leave for something. They were professional and worked until the job was done right. I am very satisfied and would recommend them.

Sewer Surgeon was the only place to give me an estimate over the phone (or email). Clearly that can change but I just needed an estimate and everyone wanted to schedule a time and all that jazz.

So I called, talked with the secretary, and then Aundre called me back. He had some time freed up and came out the same DAY. He and his crew did a good job and he explained everything to me before and after.

He had a huge truck/trailer with everything in it for the job and did it right then and there.

I feel good about it and I'll certainly use them again in the future.

Will never use again. Didn't have the right equipment to do the job the first time. Had to call and have them come back because they didn't fix the issue. The second time Andre came and didn't have proper equipment again. Was rude and basically got in his truck and said he was done with this job and left.

A BIG thank you to Aundre and Timothy! They worked hard to unclog my shower drain and took care of a leak that was caused by another very publicized plumbing company coming out a couple days before. I saved a picture of Sewer Surgeon business card in my phone so that I always have it! They worked hard, talked to me about what they were doing as they went along, answered a million questions I had, told me upfront what they thought each step would cost me and after all that, cleaned up the shower area where they had been working. Very pleased!

I gave one star because there's no way to give zero. After two days of waiting for my plumber, with no follow up from Andre after promising he'd call me back twice, I've decided never to recommend Sewer Surgeon for any job.

We had them over today to replace a sump pump and they did a great job at a very fair price. I would highly recommend them over any of the big name guys in the KC area. If you are looking for a really good plumber who will treat you fairly give Sewer Surgeon a call. This is a legit review and not like the reviews you see quite often that like they were written by an ad agency.
