I highly, no, very highly recommend Sewer Solutions! They came on time (having called first to let me know they were on the way), were fast, efficient, and completely honest about problems, options, etc. You couldn't ask for more. Call them with your sewer problems, you'll be in good hands. Oh, and the inspection was ""no charge.""

Jim Sheppard showed up on a Saturday and diagnosed my sewer line problem. He was communicative and very helpful, he gave me the pros and cons of different solutions, which I considered carefully so that I can make a sensible decision.
Jim and his team were very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.
I'd contact them again if I have any plumbing work in the future.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have crossed paths with Jim, Cade and Junior at Sewer Solutions NW. I had known for the past few years that I had root intrusion in my sewer line - what I didn't know, was the full extent of the issue(s) at hand. Jim contacted me immediately in response to an online quote request, followed by Cade and Junior coming out to scope/clear the line within a matter of days - working around my unpredictable work schedule. With all of the 'unknowns' associated with an aging sewer system, these guys instantly put my mind at ease and decreased the amount of stress I had been experiencing just thinking about a longer-term fix. They were able to show me exactly what/where my issues were located along the line and fully explain what they could offer as a resolution. From there, the process was not only seamless, but extraordinarily efficient. In a few short days, I had an expertly re-lined system, with a new outside clean-out, installed at an extremely fair price. Expert craftsmanship aside, one of the biggest things that stood out to me about these guys was their courtesy and respect for me as a customer - something that should not go unnoticed. These guys were amazing. Jim dealt with me honestly and professionally and his crew was incredible. Brandon, Junior and Cade treated my situation like it was their own home. My situation had been dealt with by other companies first, but after researching I found these guys and they finally got it done right. The final cleanup required the rebuilding of my rockery. These guys came over an extra day to make it right! Brandon was even more picky than me in making sure it was done perfectly. To say I was impressed and happy is an understatement. These guys were simply awesome!

We hired Sewer Solutions for a residential excavation project that potentially involved moving a sewer pipe. Jim was one of the only companies to respond to my communication inquiring about the project, and he came on time to take a look at the project. Although we did not go through with the project, we recommend Sewer Solutions. They have great communication and seem reliable.

This is my first Yelp review, although I have lived in Seattle since 1995, am a homeowner, a 2 time ( hopefully!) remodel survivor, and a consumer.
I can only say good things about Jim and his company, Sewer Solutions NW. We called them- after finding them on a google search) to deal with our aging ( original 1942) side sewer that had root intrusion for years. We also had at least 3 other companies bid. Jim was the only professional who actually reviewed our video footage and then took a good look himself , before suggesting a plan of action. Every other company thought we should put in an expensive liner. Jim explained the old sewer wasn't level and a liner wouldn't fix all the problems. He instead suggested a different solution of moving the plumbing. He was thoughtful and methodical and honest. His crew detected a water leak that we didn't know about and fixed that too!
The bid was fair and after the work was finished, on time and in a professional but pleasant manner , Jim actually adjusted the initial bid in our favor because the job wasn't as complicated as he thought.

His crew- Brandon, Jake, and Forrest- were hardworking and all nice guys- and any question I had, Jim was quickly available by email or phone to answer.
This is a honest man with an old-fashioned, hard-working, ethical family company.
After the job was complete, the crew actually used excess dirt to fill holes -near the old sewer - that they hadn't even made themselves!!!
Another wow!
And they even hosed off our path for us.
We love this company and Jim and his crew and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone. They've certainly made me a loyal customer!
