It is strange that I am giving a five star rating when I actually didn't receive any service but I have to give technician Mike Castle five stars for being such a fair guy. Another contractor had noticed some rot in my garage ceiling and and told me that I needed a new wax ring for my toilet. I called Sewer Rat and Mike came out and said that there was no active leak so the toilet didn't need anything. He didn't charge me for the drive out when just about any other contractor would have charged me for showing up. Just a nice thing to do. Also a good reminder that contractors shouldn't diagnose problems outside their field.

Didn't even get the job done and left a huge trail of plumber dirt through my house. Then to add to the experience, he took a part the dirty clogged drain and left it on the floor with all the screws laid about knowing perfectly well he wasn't coming back to finish the job today.

We gave Sewer Rat a call when our pipes started shaking. We got a call back right away and the plumber gave us some information over the phone that saved us time. Free of charge. I was surprised they didn't come out to just charge us for no reason.

On new years eve 2015, the amazing woman who answeres the phone, sorry I forgot your name. She did whatever she could to get someone out to the house and snake our drain. It's a 2 man job because they have to go through the roof. If they had to come the next day it would have cost more because of the holiday and she really tried to save me some money.
Now it's November 5th 2016 and I'm about to have surgery and we need the drain snaked again! And if anyone has had to prepare for surgery you know that you really need a working toilet! This wonderful woman is doing her best to get someone out to save the day again! She is a real human and understands that needs and really tries to help you. I would highly recommend this company and they are really reasonably priced. More than I can say for the comparison out there. The other companies I called totally tried to jack me. I'm a single mom and I was being extorted because I was alone. One guy wanted to tear apart my bathroom to snake a drain and charge me $1000 no way. But sewer rat, they never tried to take advantage of me and I was comfortable with the gentleman who snaked the drain. Vary important if it's just you and your child.

I had a plumbing emergency this morning and called Sewer Rat to see if they could come out quickly. I spoke to a woman, possibly the receptionist, and explained my situation. She said no-one could come out until this afternoon between 4 and 6pm. I explained I did need to try to get someone out as soon as possible and asked if I could book with her and call back to cancel in case I could get someone else to come straight out. Apparently she did not like that as she just hung up on me. Really?! At first I thought it was an accident as I couldn't believe how obnoxious that was, but realized it wasn't as I tried several times to call back but got no response, and no response to my messages. Still can't believe it.

This past Friday all of our drains were either super slow or backing up. Called Sewer Rat, dispatcher was super helpful and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and told me Mike the technician would be out between 11-1. Mike showed up on time, fixed the problem, I was able to pay with a credit card right on the spot....then got a emailed receipt later on that day. Nice to have service from a company whose technicians and office are on the same page.

I called Sewer Rate a sewer stoppage at 3pm in the afternoon. They were very responsive. The technician James was there within 30 minutes. He worked on the sewer line and clear it. Checked other bathroom to make sure they are all working. It was a very efficient work! Highly recommend it.

James was extremely helpful with our plumbing issue. He was here on time, on a Sunday, and immediately got to work clearing our backed up line. He gave us helpful tips to prevent it from happening again and suggestions on what to do if it happens again. James was very helpful and professional.

Over the past few months, I've seen Sewer Rat trucks in my neighborhood. So when I was having trouble with my sewer, I called them and am so glad that I did!! Turns out that I needed a new sewer. I was very impressed by the crew. Danny, the sewer manager, was very clear when explaining what had to be done and why, and what the process and timeline would be. The crew arrived on the date scheduled and, throughout the process, they arrived on time, cleaned up before leaving and ensured that the site was safe before leaving for the day. They are very friendly and didn't mind my questions. When I did have a concern, I called Danny who was very quick in calling me back to address my concern. I would highly recommend them if you are having trouble with your sewer and/or need a sewer replacement.
