Sewer flow saved the day, our basement was clogged and they came out the same day and unclogged it for us. While he was the he found a break in the line and then their plumber came right to fix that the same day too! I appreciated their promptness, their help and they were so nice. Thank you Sewer Flow!

Water had been entering my basement throughout the summer after heavy rains. My regular plumber was unsuccessful in snaking out the line (connecting a couple downspouts to the municipal storm sewer) which was the source of the problem. SF then tried flushing the line without success. They excavated at the point where there was apparent blockage and found that the 1928 terracota pipe was cracked in two places, and that it was almost completely blocked by tree roots beyond the cracks. They installed a new PVC pipe and connected it to the municipal storm sewer in 2 days, then returned the next day to clean up and to re-seed the lawn. I was very happy with their work. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because it was a fairly big hassle getting them to provide a bill with sufficient detail to satisfy my insurance company in order for me to be reimbursed under my homeowner's policy's Buried Utility Lines endorsement.

So, snaking the drain broke a pipe in my wall and this company doesn't do real plumbing so they left and I had to get a different company to come repair it. That was frustrating, but it was a bad pipe and would have happened to anyone so I can't blame them for that.

I can, however, fault them for lots of other general bad stuff including:

1. At the beginning asks me ""do you have a bucket?"". I'm like, you don't have a bucket in your plumbing truck? So, I'm down there with him, using items from my kitchen to shovel dirty water from the sinks into the basement floor drain.

2. Speaking of the basement floor drain, at some point while I was out of the room he pried it up out of the floor. I have no idea why, it wasn't related to the issue. It was a finished tile floor and he broke it getting the drain out, can't even get it back in flush, going to have to re-tile that part of the floor.

3. He didn't know basic things about plumbing, like he kept trying to use a plunger and I kept having to re-explain ""there are two clogged sinks connected to the same pipe, if you plunge one, the water will just shoot out of the other sink"" and he never seemed to get it

4. On arrival I pointed out ""I have 2 clogged sinks, I traced the pipes to where they both connect, then six inches past that it goes into the main pipe out of the house so the clog has to be there in this short junction area"" He acted like he understood, but when I came back he was snaking the main pipe out of the house and asked me if it was working yet.

5. He loosens the pipe near the junction, after a few seconds says ""that's not gonna come out"" and stops, but when I ask him if he can at least tighten it back up he says it is already tight. It was steadily dripping, had to get that fixed as well.

So yeah, it is not their fault my pipe broke, but even if they had successfully fixed my clog instead of wrecking my basement, it still would have been a very unimpressive experience.

Sewer pipe was clogged. Tim came and unclogged the sewer. Told me some things on upkeep. Very knowledgeable, very nice, and very professional. I will definitely be calling them again when needed.

I had a clogged drain so I called Sewer Flow and I was lucky I did bc Mike showed up within hours unclogged the drain and even cleaned up my basement floor as well!!
They were very reasonably priced I only paid $110 which in comparison to others I called was a deal! If this ever happens again they will be the only call I make!!!
