I've been a Realtor for 15 years and have been very frustrated with the hit and miss (mostly miss) results when looking for a good, honest sewer scope professional. JP was such a pleasure to work with. He was so patient and informative, even before the appointment with him began. He gave me information so I could get a sewer as built from the city of Everett before our appointment. I'm familiar with septic as builts, but didn't realize I could pull a sewer as built he was very communicative and helpful throughout the whole process. Long story short, he had no trouble accessing the sewer line on a 100 year old house my client is buying. A previous scope done last week by another technician had been unsuccessful. JP and his crew had no trouble with the scope today, it was completed in a fast and very professional way. He is amazing and my new ""go to"" sewer line resource my clients and I all felt very blessed to have found him. It's rare you meet someone so knowledgeable, competent and passionate about what they do. Thank you JP!

J.P. and his crew were terrific (and super friendly)! They were knowledgable, responsive and did great quality work. We had a sewer back-up but did not know the reason. They were onsite the same day, recommended a pumper to relieve the back-up (All-County Septic), replaced the pump quickly, then replaced the alarm, which had also failed. The new systems were all upgrades. When I got the bill I was amazed and thankful to J.P. It was more than reasonable. When you are in such a situation you are at the mercy of the people you call to help. You hope for the best, and J.P. is the best. If you go with any other company to address your septic needs, you are missing out. I can't give a higher recommendation.

We have a new home and Sewer Detectives found out our problem. We had such an awful smell we were kicked out of our home. Martin came out and told us what had to be done to our new sewer system in 5 minutes. The original Sewer guy had to come out and fix it at his expense. These are the most honest people I have ever seen. We have rentals and wished we would have known that they existed because you will get the run around with other agencies these guys are the best. JP is the man to call to fix your side sewer. I our case, our problems were multifold. We had persistent tree roots growing into our side sewer from a city-planted tree. The tree roots were also obstructing the sewer under the sidewalk and the street. Our basement sink was backing up on top of this. JP gave a root sample to a City arborist, who confirmed it was the tree in question. This was important because the City was attempting to force us to pay for problems located in the right-of-way. JP's knowledge was instrumental in working things out with the City. He is very trustworthy, and comes up with the most effective solution, so it is no wonder he is one of their preferred contractors. This could have been a nightmare of epic proportions.

In performing the repairs, the Sewer Detectives was efficient and on-time despite having to dig further than anticipated. He used a camera to make sure their were no obstructions and finished the job early, when included replacing the sidewalk as well as any concrete contractor, and getting sign-offs from the City.

JP and his crew were not on time, they were EARLY! JP quickly assessed the situation and gave us two options, one more invasive than the other. We started with the less expensive path and luckily, that did the trick for my backed up kitchen sink. Sewer Detectives were quick and professional all at a fair price. Too, JP likes cats.

I could write pages about JP and his crew. It's hard to find a tradesperson of such decency, integrity and knowledge these days. My first sewer repair estimate from the big plumbing company was huge. Summary: JP gave a very competitive estimate, and made sure of no destruction to yard or home. Fast, thorough, and explained everything before during and after. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. After a sewer clog scare a few years ago, and after hearing about old-house sewer problems, and after seeing rat holes in the ground near our sewer lines, we wanted to be proactive and find out what the problems were. Really didn't want a major plumbing emergency one day!

We had 3 companies scope our 90 year old sewer line. Turns out we had one sizable hole, at least one other smaller hole, and three different sewer pipe types looking askew. We selected Sewer Detectives to replace many feet of line, at two different angles from the house, all the way to the city line. JP explained and showed us the scope results, gave options, and provided an estimate that included everything we'd need.

It was a major project, and JP and his team kept us informed about the timing, permit, and city inspections. The sidewalk was blocked, a giant piece of machinery cut grass and driveway. In just a few days, the work was done, sprinklers and sod replaced, and concrete poured. They even put in a catch basin for the house gutter run-off, to prevent debris from entering the sewer lines. We are happy customers!

I feel so much better knowing every flush now makes it to where it's supposed to go, and that no rats can get in the pipes.

JP did a great job. He was tenacious in finding a Roof downspout / foundation drain problem that make a mes in my garage. Found out the home builder damaged the pipe going to the catch basin 20 years ago. Great result!!! Problem fixed at a good price!
