The workers were polite and friendly and explained what they were doing. That's the best that I can say. ~ 2 hr visit with 2 guys (1 appeared to be new). According to Shadd, camera service is free. Video was done from a cell phone. Haven't gotten that yet. $725 for them to run high pressure water using their machine & my water.
Problem: clogged kitchen sink, clogged bathroom sink, toilet not fully flushing every time.
End result: unclogged kitchen sink -trap was removed and cleaned (could not get hose in for high pressure water flush); toilet flushing OK - couldn't find anything wrong & did not fix anything (said ""clog must have cleared itself). Bathroom sink still clogged - did not take the elbow off, would not run a snake cause they didn't have one. Toilet was unseated to run the camera down the sewer pipe and high pressure water jet used. Camera showed some chipped terra cotta pipe - so I should invest in the pipe liner that they specialize in. Toilet re-seated with new seal - no leaks. They did not replace or install any other parts.
Dirty fingerprints on both sinks, bathtub, door, and floor had to be mopped in 2 rooms.
Issues: Did not show up when scheduled. 2 hrs after receiving enroute text message, I called the office and they contacted someone. Said truck broke down and they would not come until next day. Don't know when they would have told me that no one was coming if I hadn't called.
When I made the appointment, they did not tell me it would be $725 just to show up with water pressure (free camera), and ALL other work would be extra charge. Price is not published on the web site. Facebook says drain cleaning $100 and up.
One of the crew kindly told me the $725 price after they checked some things, hooked up water hose, and brought camera equipment into bathroom (toilet may already have been off). Didn't say all other work would be extra $.
Crew came on Friday and said they would be back on Monday to snake the bathroom sink and replace something under the kitchen sink that was fragile. On Monday, I called the office and talked to Shadd Matthews to find out what time they would arrive. Shadd does not understand customer service and may need some plumbing experience. He said no one was scheduled to come on Monday. His guys tell people things that they are not scheduled for. He said his crew was not trained to use a snake; that was too much liability; and snakes were not kept on the trucks. Crew is not trained to give estimates either. He would send someone back to use a snake on the sink only if I signed a liability waiver because the ""plumber"" could break the pipe. Shadd said that to fix the bathroom sink clog, they had to tear out the wall and completely replace all the plumbing down to the basement. No one ever checked the trap (PVC pipe) or checked anything else. On the call, Shadd was actually argumentative and defensive. Kept saying that he needed to protect the company. If the price was too high, I should have told the crew to leave.
I would look elsewhere for simple plumbing problems.
