This is the best plumbing service I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Each of the guys who has come out has done good, efficient work and even advocated on my behalf with my property manager to ensure my apartment receives the maintenance and new equipment it needs. I was particularly blessed the other day to meet Carl, who replaced a water heater in my unit that was 29 years old, inefficient, and unsafe. He was thoughtful enough to make efforts to quiet his work while I participated in my online university classes; when my classes were over, he proved to be a lovely conversationalist, and we passed several minutes chatting as he finished his work. Rather than just replacing my hot water heater, he explained to me why he had to replace it and how I can keep an eye on it, myself, to prolong its life. Before Carl left, I asked for his business card because, when my husband and I eventually buy our own home, we will be calling SCS for all our plumbing needs.

Carl is great. Fixed the repairs needed promptly and efficiently. Didn't rip me off either. Highly recommend him.

If I could give zero stars I would. The owner of this business pulled up next to my mom today with my kids in the car and asked her to roll down the window. She thought he was going to tell her she had a flat or something, but he proceeded to cuss her out for her Biden/Harris bumper sticker. She told him there were children in the car, asked him to stop and he would not. Even after she rolled up the window he kept screaming at her. She then called the number on his company car to let them know and he answered and started screaming at her again. When she told him he probably shouldn't be doing this in his business vehicle he screamed ""I DON'T GIVE A SH!T!""
Clearly this business is owned by someone unprofessional and hostile with no self control. I would never let this man in my home.

Carl and his team have been nothing but great. I used him on more than one occasion for sewer snake . water heater replacement and new construction work. All of has gone just as I would have hoped fora fair price.
Im not sure what happened with that other reviewer nut remember there are 2 sides to every story

Carl Smith is a fraud. We hired him to replace sewer straps in May 2017. He was under our home for 35 minutes and said he replaced several loose, broken, etc. straps. He stated if we paid cash it would be $100.00. He also stated all was ok now. Yesterday (Sept. 6, 2017) while replacing a moisture barrier, it was brought to our attention by the company that 90% of the straps needed to be replaced. We called Carl and he said he would call us back, he did not. We contacted another company who came immediately and were under our home for 2 1/2 hrs and replaced 25 straps. Carl also indicated that he owned Peter Piper Plumbing, which he does not, I called the company today to verify. It appears that Carl and his company are frauds. I am writing this review in hopes that no one else uses this company.

This is around the 6th time we have used SCS, and I am moved to say publicly that we highly recommend this company.

Here are a few reasons:

- Prices are reasonable (not always the case for plumbing house calls...)
- Carl arrives on time. Hasn't let us down yet--not even by a few minutes.
- He returns calls promptly--another area where plumbers don't always excel.
- The man has integrity. He does his best to bring in the cost where he said he would.
- He's friendly and courteous!

All told, you are going to like dealing with Carl. He has become our plumber of choice!
