I had an emergency plumbing need on a Saturday evening. Dave answered the phone on one ring. He had just gotten home from work. He tried to walk me through what needed to be done to save me money and not because he did not want to come out to help me. I wasn't able to navigate what needed to be done. Dave got in his truck, came out to Westlake Village and fixed what needed to be fixed. He was professional and efficient. I highly recommend Seumas plumbing.

I have used Seumas exclusively for the past 25 years. They always performed whatever task they needed to do. They squeezed me in for emergencies especially when a dry wall repair was being done and the drywall professional hit a copper water pipe and I had a swimming pool in the family room. Brian sent out Omar ASAP to save us and the possibility of major water damage.

Used this plumber for re-seating a toilet once, the worker was very good. Because of this good experience, I called him for another extremely slow draining sink in the bathroom 3 or so years later This time it was a different crew and they took a long time, but seemed to relieve it, but it was not easy and they had a LOT of trouble with it. When I had AHS warranty they used to send plumbers for clearing clogs, and none were this hard. In fact the owner also had to come. [He also told me we needed to replace the tub at the time because it was ""too old"" That tub is still there and is just fine, btw]!
Anyway, just two days later the sink started to be extremely slow again and I called back Seumas. He never came back after telling me he would. I tried to reach him twice, but he did not care. That sink was not used too much, and stayed that way for for 3 years more until we wanted to replace the vanity. Got my hands dirty and I found out that the problem was very deep and the whole line was stuffed with sediment from a Brass-GI connection to the Wye inside the wall. I expected a plumber to detect and tell me that was the problem. A white-collar, light handy owner like myself could find the problem and he could not? All he had to do was look under the sink carefully. Especially since it was not an easy clog, I am surprised it did not occur to him they may be something deeper.

I will not even talk of the very small bathtub problem that I fixed myself and has been just fine for 4 years now. 0 stars, but will not count since no job done, it is also graceful!

So Seumas is a no go for me. 1. Could not find the problem. 2. Never came back to look. 3. Suggested a $2500 replacement job for something I spent $25 to fix good.

The two stars are due to the excellent first toilet reseat job, that was 5. Average of 5 and -1 is 2.

This is only personal experience. Your experience will vary, he may just be fine for you and I do wish the company well. But I will not use their services.

We had a broken water pipe in the house. These guys were great. They showed up on time, explained everything very well and fixed it solidly. They also did as little damage to the house as possible and cleaned up everything after they finished the job. Very Professional!
