Great work on five water heaters in Everett, a planned full-day job that became urgent when one failed before a scheduled visit. After we connected this family-owned and family-operated outfit moved quickly to replace not only the one unit needing immediate attention but the full set. My team of two plumbers and one apprentice worked efficiently and gave me a much-improved setup.

Setzer Plumbing included safety, code-compliance, and functionality enhancements at a good price point. Some other plumbers had provided me with quotes for a replace-in-kind solution, which would have swapped out the water heaters but left me with every other shortcoming of the old plumbing setup, and some of those quotes were priced lower than the Setzer estimate. I chose Setzer Plumbing and their solid value proposition for this job, and I'm glad I did.

As a bonus, my Setzer time and materials invoice came in BELOW their original estimate. Don't expect Setzer to provide a firm fixed price or to always come in below estimated costs. Expect Setzer to perform quality build, re-build, or replacement work and charge you fairly for it.

Unbelievable service! Two competitor plumbers came from other companies wanting to charge me $800 to rip my wall apart to fix leaky hose - Micah @ Setzer uses FaceTime to walk me thru taking it apart and we found a wood chip and removed it - issue resolved! So grateful for outstanding service!

The water district notified me that I had a water leak, 20-30gals leaking per hour. I got American Leak Detection (highly recommended) out and they located the leak and marked the area which was adjacent to the meter. Next, I tried to find a plumber - very frustrating - out of service area, too busy, or didn't return calls or emails. One big company did come out, said they would have to replace the entire line for an outrageous price, no other option.

A friend scoured plumbers on a paid review site she belongs to and referred me to Setzer Plumbing as they had very good reviews. Once I contacted Setzer my frustration was over. James Setzer came out and dug, found, and repaired the leak. It was exactly where American Leak Detection marked. Actually, James replaced a larger section than just the short section of leak. There had been other splices in the poly line so he replaced about a 6 ft section from the water meter fitting to past the leak with pex pipe. The price was very fair, the quality of work and customer service excellent. I am very happy to have this finally fixed and equally happy to have found a high quality, fair and honest family plumbing business. BTW, James recommended that I have the entire line replaced if another leak develops in the poly line. His estimate for that is less than half of what the big company wanted. Setzer Plumbing is a keeper.

I've been a customer of Setzer Plumbing for around seven years, originally through our general contractor, for both my home and rental property, for jobs both big and small. They are absolutely the most trustworthy, reliable, friendly, and high quality plumbers I've ever worked with and I frequently recommend them to friends and family. On the rare occasion I've needed to use another plumbing company I instantly regretted not waiting a short while until Setzer was available to do the job. I've learned that any company with lots of readily available service people are probably not that busy because they're just not that good. And even though they are clearly very busy, Micah and his crew always communicate and prioritize jobs appropriately. Their services are absolutely worth every penny!

I had a burst pipe seam and really needed someone to come out and fix it right away. Micah at Setzer was able to come out within an hour and get started. I had known this pipe was not sufficiently insulated and prone to freezing based on a previous burst. At my request to get this fixed correctly, Micah was able to identify time and parts and an alternative rerouting of the pipe and replace the copper with something durable and suitable. This was a complete change in plans from a simple pipe fix to a pipe replace and reroute and it was done very quickly. Great service, very candid and honest with his assessment and with the possible options to fix. Will definitely use them again & refer them.
