I had a leaky pipe under my sink and I called one of the bigger plumbing companies to the 805 to check it out. We'll call them... Mutton Plumbing.

The dude came off super salseys and insisted to do ""diagnostics"" on my water, pipes and pressure. He then told me that I would need brand new pipes and a pressure regulator. The final cost (with a coupon) was $2500! I asked if he could just do the leaky pipe and he said that he doesn't feel comfortable doing it without replacing every pipe under my sink and installing a new pressure regulator. After some haggling and ""talking to his manager"" he got the price down to $2000. That was still too high for me and I told him I had to get a second opinion. After charging me $40, I hit up Joe from Sespe Plumbing.

Right away, I could tell that all Joe wanted to do was help. The pressure regulator was going bad, but he didn't push too hard to replace it. He positioned it in a way that made more sense to do now rather than later. As far as the leaky pipe is concerned, all it needed was a new washer. He replaced the washer and installed a new regulator within the next couple of days. The work was fast, the price was fair and the overall experience was fantastic.

I will be utilizing Joe and Sespe Plumbing for all my future needs. Polite, fast, understanding. Hit up Joe if you want your plumbing pipes cleaned but your wallet and dignity intact. 11/0 would highly recommend.

After being ripped off by an out of town hero company who couldn't clear my drain back up (but still required me to pay), I called sespe plumbing and he was able to get the job done and even guaranteed the work. Thank you sespe plumbing! Great job!

Our house is almost 100 years old with clay lines running to the main line. Ten years ago, after calling several other plumbers in Fillmore with no responses, we called Sespe Plumbing. They came out on a Sunday because we had raw sewage backing up into our house with 5 kids not willing to wait for the toilet. Joe and his crew cleared out several tree roots that had bottle necked and clogged our sewer line.
Yesterday, I called Sespe Plumbing again for a clogged line since they were the only plumber that would respond to my urgency 10 years previous. This time roots did not come out when Joe snaked the line, but I told Joe that we had started using flushable wipes that claimed to breakdown in the sewer system. He said they are not good to use on an old system and that they were probably the culprit. My charge was 1/2 of what I had expected and Joe had to work alone. Talking to Joe, he is a very ethical and honest businessman who has had his business for as long as I have lived in Fillmore (at least 20 years). I highly recommend Sespe Plumbing for anyone's plumbing needs. Don't know what happened with Craig K. and Heidi F. Not everyone has the same experience. Mine was great! Thank you, Joe!

I needed some new pipes on my 1960's home and the owner of the company, Joe, personally came and did the work. Saved me a ton by using this new ""pex"" (spelling?) pipe. Did the work in a clean and professional matter and was out in a couple of days. Will use him as my go-to plumber from now on.

Good Service, but Very expensive. Get a written estimate first. I was charged over $200 for labor only for 20 minutes of work. I supplied all of the parts.
