Highway robbery. Quoted $59 for a same evening call to look at the problem (after I had submitted a clear photo so they had an idea what they were getting into - and explained the problem). Then after a phone call, was told it would actually be $675 and they would come the next day. They never called on the day of and when I called they seemed to not know who I was. When they arrived they told me the price was now $1275 because they had to install a four dollar part but suggested I replace all my kitchen pipes for close to $4k (by the way, you can replace all the pipes in a house our size for $1200, labor and parts included). When I refused to pay they tried to give me a lecture on how businesses and competition operate then asked me what I do for a living and tried to ask me personal questions. I had to literally negotiate him down to a competitive and reasonable price ($900) to do a 30 minute job. The supervisor left before the job was even completed, just FYI.

My kitchen sink stopped draining yesterday. I was able to get an appointment for the next day with Sal Plumbing and Rooter. First of all, Harley showed up on time. Then he proceeded to snake the drain multiple times. The pipes in my building are old and corroded. It took a while to get the drain working but what impressed me about Harley was that he NEVER gave up!!! He was patient with me when I asked questions. He also provided me with an option in the worst case scenario. Because he NEVER gave up, I didn't have to go to option B. I can't say THANK YOU enough!!! I'll be calling them if I have future needs.

My water heater stoped working so I called Sal plumbing , they showed up on time , diagnosed the problem, apparently I had a leaky water heater , we had to replace it so the crew from Sal plumbing did the work without delays after a few hours I had a new water heater installed and a running hot water they left the area clean and did a beautiful job

I called Sal Plumbing this morning because my toilet was leaking and I needed it fixed now! I expected they would tell me that they wouldn't be able to come out until tomorrow which would be too late. But they said they would be out between 2 & 4 today. I've heard that many times from other companies and they never make it within that time frame. Sal Plumbing kept their word!!! Two very polite, competent plumbers came out and replaced my very old toilet. They both were so neat with everything and cleaned up totally. There was nothing left for me to clean up. Thank you Sal Plumbing!!! Your plumbers are great!!! Hopefully I won't need any plumbing repairs for awhile but when I do, I'm definitely calling Sal Plumbing!

I had an excellent experience from phone call to completed service with Sal Plumbing. I found them through Home Advisor. On the initial call regarding a water heater problem, I was connected with Michael who clearly outlined options and estimated costs. I scheduled service for the next day and he arrived on time, completed the repair efficiently and left the area cleaner than he found it. Price was exactly what was quoted. Professional, informative, friendly. I will definitely call Sal Plumbing next time I need help.

I contacted several plumbing companies on Yelp for help diagnosing a problem with a tankless water heater. I received a reply to my initial email within 15 minutes, worked out a time for Michael to come take a look, and he was able to fit me in on my requested date on the following Monday. Other (highly rated on Yelp) companies told me they wouldn't be able to do a service call for 2+ weeks! Michael arrived on time and quickly identified the problem (a very old unit that likely hadn't been serviced by the prior owner of the house). He quoted a fair price and scheduled time the following day to do the installation for a new unit. Michael also checked the connection of an exterior gas line to a built-in BBQ as a courtesy while he was in our yard. Fantastic customer service!

Michael confirmed the crew's arrival time by text the night before the installation of the new water heater. They showed up on time, worked quickly, and left the area tidy when they were finished. I will be calling this company for all my future plumbing needs!

There was sewage overflowing in front of my house Pipe ,I didn't know who to call, my neighbor suggested Sal Plumbing & Rooter. So I checked the Internet and found they have a good reputation ,When I called Sal Plumbing & Rooter the person that answered the phone was very professional. I had a plumber at my house in 60 minutes, he said I need a rooter service, within 20 minutes the sewage was gone,After clearing the stoppage Michael the plumber recommend to send a camera inside my sewer line to see what was the problem,he found out that there is two sections that are full of roots ,he recommended to replace my sewer pipe with trenchless technology,After Seeing the roots i agreed to go ahead and replace my sewer pipe,Michael the plumber replaced my sewer pipe in two days with city inspection and give me 20 year warranty on replaced pipe and guaranteed the drain would not back up for many years. I am very happy with the service and i will call Sal Plumbing & Rooter any time I need a plumber. Thank you for great service michael!

Originally found them off home advisor. The first time he came out he wanted to charge $275 to camera the line. I explained that the next day my contractor was opening up my wall and I had a good idea of where the leak was. Nonetheless he insisted. My witts told me to wait, so I did. When the wall was open I could see the leak. I called them back out to do the repair. He told me it would be $3200, he had to go underground and he wanted to camera the line and look for other stuff it didn't sound right. The catch is... I work in construction, so I know a little about many things. I sent him on his way and contacted Calibult Plumbing. He cut the T area and removed the part the part at the bottom that was damaged replaced all of it, tested it and it worked fine... $500 versus $3200 and digging up my floor. The correct repair is pictured. He also told me even if he had to dig it was a $1300-1500 job. DO NOT TRUST! It's scary people are doing business like this. I have a newborn and had I trusted him I would have been out of almost 5k after floors. Shady business.
