Good people to deal with ..have been using them for years for service....special thank you to Kevin the sales rep and Jose and Tim also.
when i called, the scheduler told me there was a 89.99 fee for them to come out and then the cost to replace whatever needed to be fixed. To me, it sounded like if a piece needed to be replaced i would pay for it. $219 later it turns out the $89 was the come out fee and on top of that there would be an hourly rate. the tech was kind enough to charge me for 1/2 hour since i had only a loose wire. However, as far as the work, my issue was diagnosed quickly and resolved.
VERY MISLEADING!!!
Jeffrey V.Not sure why the low rating on yelp! I've used them for years and I have always been treated great. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
I paid over $13k for a top of the line Carrier system last year. The company installed a new motor in my heat pump at no charge so I had air conditioning because I was getting a quote on a whole new system. They responded quickly and were very accommodating. When the new one was installed, the installers were wonderful. It was a big job and they were here two days. I've been happy with the system. This winter when the backup heat kicked on, it sounded like a shop vac. They sent a technician who was here 1.5 hours only to tell me he didn't know the system and would have someone contact me. That never happened and why was someone sent who didn't know the system? Now, it is time for the annual maintenance. They were to contact me, but they didn't. I got a bill for another year, though. I was put on hold for so long the first time I called, that I put in a request on line. It was never responded to. So, I called and couldn't get an appointment for over one month. So, my current contract will be expired and I will have to renew it or pay for the maintenance. Also, I want my ducts cleaned. I have called 3 times and each time I am told someone else handles that and they will call me. Still, no return call. This has been going on for over one week. I think 3 strikes you are out. I always had good service with this company until now.
Felix S.On time, Friendly, professional and very knowledgeable! Love the service!!!!
Jim C.The best service company in the area. Reliable professional work.
Honest estimates. Plumbing, heating, air conditioning, they do it all, on time, reasonably and professionally.
Great firm to do business with. I wish all service companies were like this.
Can't say enough about what a great job Service Mark did installing our new heater and a/c units. I was very impressed with John Hanson, our salesman. He was very responsive and professional and answered all our questions. The installers left the place immaculate. We always used Service Mark to do our annual check up and we couldn't be happier that we chose them for our installation. Have subsequently recommended them to our next door neighbor and she's happy as well.
Kevin H.It's hard to really say with these guys. They have been more reliable than the idiot who installed my Mini Split units in the first place, but after talking to my friend who has been in the industry he said I got taken complete advantage of when it came down to the price. They charged me $276 for 2lbs of 410a refrigerant which to someone who doesn't know and by the guy who installed claimed its very expensive and now this company saying the same, I am blown away with the fact that typically other companies charge around $35/lbs of 410a refrigerant.
The people who came to work on my mini split units were very friendly and helpful in explaining the issues that they found, but just feel that I have paid too much after speaking to someone who has been in the HVAC industry for sometime.
They have been to my home 3 times to fix multiple leaks and drain line issues which I am very grateful for but I just wish it didn't come at such an absurd price
I purchased my central air unit from Service Mark and had a good experience with the sale and installation. I have had poor customer service from dispatch since then in two instances. The first was when I called during the winter when my heater was not working. I was told I could not get an appointment that day. The dispatchers were busy when I called, I was told by an answering service, but they said I would receive a call back to schedule next available appointment. I never got any call back. Luckily, I went ahead and called someone else, who was able to come out the same day, so I was able to get heat restored and my pipes didn't freeze. My second poor experience was today. I scheduled a preseason servicing for my central air a couple of weeks ago. I took vacation time for this afternoon so I could be there between 2 and 5 p.m. for the appointment. This morning I got a call saying my appointment was being cancelled because they had too many service calls. What is the point of making an appointment if you get bumped for someone else who calls that day? The dispatcher said because the others have contracts with Service Mark they take priority over me. I will take my business elsewhere.
I called to have someone come out and replace the elements in our hot water heater. Later that day we had the friendliest technician come out. He was very competent. He wore covers on his shoes to keep our floors clean. He explained what he was doing while he worked and basically taught me how to do it myself. Overall the service part of the service call was A++ (5 stars for this). Then comes the bill which was $89 for the visit and $200 for 2 elements, which should have been at most $30. I'm telling myself that I paid to have someone teach me how to do this maintenance. I took off 3 stars for the blatant over charging.
