They left my water running all day while i was out it flooded my bathroom and flooded my house when i tried to reach them they threaten to light my house on fire than proceeded to tie my family up then blocked my phone number and shit on me and left. Terrible would not recommend would give 0 stars if i could.

I have used Service Today for years, and I am impressed with the professionalism of the teams who have come to service my HVAC systems. Last week, I was visited by Pedro and Dan, and they were diligent in finding the source of an odd noise that came from my furnace. They spent two hours researching, finding the issue, and fixing it. Today, I was visited by Nick to make sure everything was working safely and still within normal parameters. He too, took the time to make sure everything was AOK and will not cause an issue in the future. This is not the first time that Nick has been out to my place, he is very courteous and thorough! I am very pleased with the service that Nick, Pedro, and Dan have provided me with this current issue, and I will continue to use Service Today! for my HVAC needs.

I needed a plumbing repair, so I scheduled an appointment with Service Today. I made arrangements to stay home from work for the appointment. They called on the day of the appointment to cancel due to ""an emergency."" I figured that emergencies happen, so I decided to reschedule. The next available appointment that could work for me was 5 days later. On the day of that appointment, they called again to cancel due to ""an emergency.""

If you need to the work done, I don't recommend Service Today.

Three years ago, I wrote a glowing review on Google. My how things have changed. I was talked into joining their prepaid plan, which entitled me to a boiler tuneup. Got it scheduled for a 4-Hour window, and took the day off from work. No show. I called them an hour after the window closed, and they explained that they had an emergency and that I had been on their list to call and reschedule but they hadn't gotten to me yet. Okay, anything can happen once. Fifteen minutes later I got a call from someone else at Service Today leaving a voicemail that my appointment would have to be canceled due to emergency. Anyhow, I got it rescheduled, and took a second day off from work. The appointment was confirmed by text the day before. This time I called them an hour into my 4-Hour window, and was told I ""was scheduled but wasn't on the schedule. Does that make sense?"" Ummm...no. After checking with dispatch, I was told there was an emergency and my appointment would not be taking place, and was offered a third opportunity to reschedule. At this point I'd lost confidence in their ability to manage their business, and canceled my membership. It's clear it's not worth the paper it's written on. Rating revised to one star.

Do not use this business. They run a scam trying to cheat you out of money. We booked them to look at 2 outlets that had stopped working, before seeing the mountain of negative reviews about them on yelp and google. When the ""technician"" arrived he told us we had a ""major problem"" with our entire electrical system. Went around the house ""testing"" various outlets and told us they were all way off the expected voltage they were supposed to be and were all a ""huge fire risk"". The technician said that he had to bring a supervisor out for further testing but he could only do that if we agreed to an initial charge of $700. While one of us discussed this with him the other did a thorough internet search on them and found the negative reviews, including stories like what we were facing. We told them no and went out and purchased our own voltage tester for $25 and found that all outlets were exactly what they were supposed to be, 120 volts. We then called a different electrician who came out and found that nothing they told us was true. We had one bad outlet that was super cheap to replace and nothing else wrong. This place is crooked. Do not trust anything they say. Also, they go by multiple names, probably trying to hide all of their bad reviews. Service Today, Eagan-Electrician, and Home Service Pros. All lead to the same crooked company.

I regret ever using this company. I had a new furnace and a/c put in and now they are telling me I need to spend $6k to add returns. So I had another company come out and they are charging me less than $1k to add returns and fixed a leak that Service Today supposedly fixed months ago that is making my brand new furnace rust!! When I had told the Service Today worker that $6k was not acceptable, he said a manager would call me. 2 weeks later and I've not heard from them since, but they called every day when they had hoped I would pay that 6k. I guess I've learned my lesson and never use this business again. Also be wary of any 5 star reviews because they ask you to do that the day you have it done and of course there is rarely issues then.

They use scare tactics and likely incorrect ""testers"" to get homeowners to spend 10-22k on all these ""necessary updates"" to avoid any risk of fires. When we had a very experienced electrician who we found as a referral come out afterwards to verify if anything they said was true and he said none of it was necessary. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!

I am SO DISAPPOINTED I called and set up a service call to have them come out and give me a quote. they came as they said they would! that's Great, the tech was very nice. But for the $75.00 service call Jo said he had to do an energy check through my house. So I let him go that's when the pressure started about how my houses power was so dangerous! and then the upselling started!
I asked them out to give me a quote for diagnosing my can lights in the kitchen possibly adding two new receptacles and installing a light fixture that I had purchased! This was however was just an opportunity for them to start up selling the first estimate was for this: Diagnose my kitchen light install the fixture I purchased and check all my outlets to make ""safety first"". The first quote for that was over $1200.00. My reaction ""Are you out of your mind!!"" So Joe got ""Jeff"" on the line I explained to Jeff I just wanted a quote on the work I asked for! ""Fair enough even though the current wasn't right.) So then Joe gives me another quote for just ""DIAGNOSING"" my can lights in the Kitchen and installing the light I had Purchased this quoted was almost $900.00. I said No Way!! So then. He called the office and told ""Jimmie"" that I was not happy with the quote and wasn't into the upswell. So I said I wouldn't pay over $500.! Jimmie said give her the diagnosis and light install and I will give her the package we have available for diagnosing plumbing AC furnace and something else and it will be $675.00. I honestly felt SO MUCH PRESSURE ! I finally said okay..
He took the switch plate off and put the tester to it pulled the can lights out and told me it's the can lights that are bad! Okay! That took him 10 minutes tops! Then he started my light fixture which he didn't have the correct wire nuts for and he left in the middle of that.
BEWARE !!! This company in My Opinion is all about up selling! So basically I paid $75.00 trip charge ( agreed) and $675.00 to have a light fixture installed and to tell me my can lights were bad. Joseph came to the house at 2:15 and didn't leave until 5:30. The pressure from this guy was so bad I didn't sleep a bit knowing I was RIPPED OFF!

I called due to a nicked gas pipe. The employee arrived timely however spent about 5 minutes then said he was not able to fix. He said he could call his supervisor and get him over in a couple of days. Since we could not wait 2 days he said he would turn off the gas. Took credit card info and left. I ended up calling a competitor who came out, fixed the problem right away. When we told him the Service Today person made sure the gas was off he said well It is was not shut off at the main. Seems like the service today tech just wanted to get the heck out of there. The only thing Service Today managed to do was to charge $75 for telling me he couldn't fix the issue. I will not be calling Service Today again
