Long-time customer with an annual service contract. Was advised that I needed a UV air scrubber, was given estimate and scheduled it. They scheduled the wrong date, never told me I'd have to pay that day. Before they got too big for their britches, they would send an invoice, by mail or email. And then I paid it. Customer service should tell people that payment is due immediately. When I called, I was told that the billing system doesn't allow for invoices. I'll be looking for a new contractor in the future, strictly because of poor business practices. Used to be employee owned, with pride.

RIP OFF. UNREASONABLE PRICING. TAKES ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE IN A HARD SPOT. Employee was nice enough, but not only raped me in price, but still tried selling me a 15K new system. Never will use them again. Never will recommend. Appearance of a reputable company, but their agenda is ripping people off.

We had our water pipes (original to our 1953 home) replaced from the city meter to the house and throughout the house. Jack and his team did an excellent job at a fair price. This was a full two-day project and attention was paid to every detail. We appreciate all of the effort that was put into this tough job and would highly recommend Service Today. This is not the first time we have used this company, and it will definitely not be our last.

Was scheduled for a routine new heating system service/maintenance check that had been scheduled in late September. Received confirmation text 24 hours prior that service technician should arrived between 0800-1200 the next day. Service technician never showed or called. When I called their customer service line was told that it will likely be later in the afternoon. Second time in a row a service call failed to materialize. I'm done with this company after this service contract ends.

Great techs. Professional. Courteous. Worst customer service people ever.
I have spent about 11,500 dollars with these folks, have a service contract, since early 2022. Scheduled a pre season check for October 5 that never happened. i had been told early on that I could request a specific tech, if available, but the bored young lady told me he didnt work there anymore-without hearing a name. Trying to reschedule my visit i was called a liar by the ignorant phone person. I have sent two letters requesting service and written communication via email or text. it has not happened. I did get a voice mail saying she wanted to reschedule and would send an email but this never happened. I checked the spam folder. I have been forced to start my heat with a safety check that I prepaid for. Avoid these people like the plaque. I guess I will be forced to pursue legal redress at this point.

Very upset with this company and their hidden fees. I got a call from Service Today to service my A/C over a year ago and when they called, I asked if this was covered under the service contract. They told me that it was. Apparently I wasn't covered. I got a bill for $150 a year later. I would have used this company for the duration, but now I cannot trust them to give me a straight answer so they are now DEAD to me.

Was a great employee owned company that offed a discount on all services if you had a HVAC maintenance contract. The company was purchased by a larger company and still operates as Service Today - no discounts and the work is no longer labor plus parts.
All work is done on flat price basis plus a premium charge parts charge if they provide the parts. If you enjoy being over charged go for it! We were charged $275 to install 3 switches I provided. They wanted $500 to replace the cartridge in a Moen shower faucet.

Our air conditioning in a guest bedroom has been broken for a month. Service today quoted us a part we needed, we waited two weeks for the part to arrive, and when the technician came out he said it was the totally wrong part. And that there was nothing he could do, ""he's just the technician.""

I asked for a manager to call me three days ago as every agent I talk to says there is nothing they can do. I've called daily and no manager has called me back and the air conditioning remains broken.

I've never seen worse customer service that you can't get someone to call you. And we actually have a contract with them!!
