AAAAGGGHHHH! This is the third time that immediately following routine service under the HVAC maintenance plan that the heat pumps fail and require hundreds of dollars of repair. After spending $2600 to have air scrubbers installed one unit provided no heat (after tech did maintenance) and one unit in the crawl space spewed toxic burning smell into the house. The tech on call said it was loose wires that contacted each other and burned out. Coincidence that this happened the same day as service after being fine for more than 15 years. If I didn't know better I would think theyt were sabotaging the units to cause you to pay for repairs!! Never use these guys again.

After installation, they were paid by check. 3 months later, they cashed the same check again and told me to wait until the end of the week to get over $10,000 refunded. No urgency to correct the mistake. They were going to wait days to write a refund check and mail it. Asked to talk to a manager but the front desk wouldn't put me through.

We had been using Service Today for all plumbing, electric and HVAC service. The last few times the costs were extremely high. This last was to repair a dripping faucet. The cost was $300!! We were not given an itemized cost but told they do not do that now. Techs were there all of 20 minutes - one service guy and another who was being trained (he just stood around and watched. We had always been shown the cost of parts to be used in the repair. I found the parts for the repair on line cost $20 or less! Calls to the company only resulted in defensive comments. We will not be using them again.

I paid for an annual service agreement which was about 70% more than last year. Ok, businesses have had tremendous pricing pressures on labor, equipment and materials so fine. I was told to expect a call between 8 and 9 a.m. today. While on a business call, I got a call from them at 10:16 a.m. and then another at 10:19 a.m. saying that they would have to reschedule. I called back at 10:22 and the person answering tried to keep our appointment but the dispatcher declined so I requested to cancel our contract and get a refund. Who thinks that kind of service represents ""Service Today""? It's a shame that the management treats their customers like that since the technicians that serviced us last year were very good.

Travis White did a great job but when I made the appointment for an electrician, they only told me about paying $49 and then the electrician would quote us when he came. My problem is that they didn't tell us that if he removed anything before even fixing the issue we would have to pay $199. He told us once he found the problem. In order for him to fix the breaker it would cost us $353 for everything. I spoke with the company twice before scheduling and not once did they mention ""if the electrician removes anything you will be charged xyz"" we had a deductible with our insurance for the home which we were trying to avoid but once he told us the issue and price to fix we figured the insurance was the better option. Well we've ended up paying more than half of what we could've paid. We won't use them again because it seems like they got over on us KNOWINGLY with that 199 that had we known about it, we wouldn't have called them at all.

Don't bother trying to book online. They delayed me well over a week and repeatedly requested simple information that I had provided on my initial inquiry. They called my ex-husband to ""try to reach me"" even though I had provided only my phone number.

Bottom line: They wasted my time.

Their last communication, after repeatedly requesting information that I had provided at FIRST contact: ""No further communication will be done by email please call our office at your earliest convenience for us to schedule your requested service and to confirm we have your correct information as well as remove any unnecessary information.""

We have had the same problem with our AC for a year. Last year (spring 22) we bought a service agreement and every time we called them with a frozen AC unit they'd replace another part, charge us and it eventually it freezes again. Until we replaced the AC unit (spring 23) at a hefty price and it is still freezing up now (July). They are wretched, they show up but fix nothing and charge, charge and charge some more. The only reason they have two stars is the computer won't let me give them one.

Our air conditioning in a guest bedroom has been broken for a month. Service today quoted us a part we needed, we waited two weeks for the part to arrive, and when the technician came out he said it was the totally wrong part. And that there was nothing he could do, ""he's just the technician.""

I asked for a manager to call me three days ago as every agent I talk to says there is nothing they can do. I've called daily and no manager has called me back and the air conditioning remains broken.

I've never seen worse customer service that you can't get someone to call you. And we actually have a contract with them!!
