My home heater stopped working. I paid the $49.00 trip/ travel fee, although I learned from the service technician that that he was on another service call just 10 minutes away from my house before he arrived to service my heater. Two minutes after his arrival he assessed my heater issue as a bad motor that needed to be replaced. The technician said that it would cost approximately $1,300.00 to replace the motor, and that since my heater was nearly 10 years old, it might make more sense to replace the heater. He said replacing the heater would likely cost between $5,000 and 7,000. He indicated that prices would likely be going up due to changes in the economy. Long story short, after being without heat for nearly 3 weeks, a friend referred me to someone they knew who replaced the motor for $250.00, the cost of the motor. In the end I was charged $205.00 for a 15 minute service call where the diagnosis of the problem was the only thing that I received. GREED and price-gouging are not pretty, and I resent service technicians appearing so competent, professional and pleasant, while raping customers on the cost to resolve their problem. It galls me that this is a systemic problem within the HVAC profession, literally leaving people in the cold. ""ServiceToday... at the cost of an arm and a leg""

They told me it was gonna cost over $4,000 for a new water heater and installation. You won't get a vacation on my expense.. that's ridiculous. Maybe the heater was gold. Lowe's $1500.

These people are becoming borderline criminals. I have 5 condos I rent and they serviced two units across the street from each other on consecutive days and claimed they needed $13,000 in repairs. In a De unit, they claimed I needed a new heat pump. Second opinion; the unit is in perfect working condition. Got a second opinion on the MD units and the repairs came to $261. I should report them to the MD Attorney General and will. If you like to be robbed, use these guys.

Updating last year's 5 star to 1 based on TERRIBLE customer service when I called for an updated time and some questions after finding out there would be a delay. Understood the delay, but with having plans outside of the window they gave me, I needed to figure out if they'd be able to get there before I left. Well - that was where it all went downhill. I'm not going to spend my time being over-talked, reprimanded for making plans outside of the window I was given for service to come, and unapologetically offered another appointment in 2 months. I've requested to speak to a manager and was told it would take 24-48 hours, but based on other reviews I saw on Yelp - I'll be surprised if that comes through. I just signed a contract in April - and I'll be looking to cancel that and get a refund. Wouldn't have come to that if Tina had any idea how to speak to customers. I refuse to be treated like that - especially when it's a service that I have paid to have.

They came to my house 3 times. Charged me every time. Barely checked my unit and told me it had to be replaced. Finally found someone to really look at it and it was the motor in the air handler. A little worrisome when you don't know who to trust!!!

I'm trying to get the whole underneath of my trailer replaced because it leaks bad. Mason gave me a lot of information about the job and two different prices. Some pictures

AAAAGGGHHHH! This is the third time that immediately following routine service under the HVAC maintenance plan that the heat pumps fail and require hundreds of dollars of repair. After spending $2600 to have air scrubbers installed one unit provided no heat (after tech did maintenance) and one unit in the crawl space spewed toxic burning smell into the house. The tech on call said it was loose wires that contacted each other and burned out. Coincidence that this happened the same day as service after being fine for more than 15 years. If I didn't know better I would think theyt were sabotaging the units to cause you to pay for repairs!! Never use these guys again.
