Do not think of using, total ripoffs will take advantage of elderly and folks that dont know much about their systems. Just read all their reviews over half of them are having to do with excessive overcharging for their services. Should be investigated.

Warning, this company makes side money by getting you to pay for quotes. They will give a estimate thousands of dollars higher than the going rate. I do not recommend, you will save thousands by getting other (FREE) quotes.

we had a low level emergency with our boiler and called Service Stars at 8am. They were able to have someone out at our place by 11am to save the day! Jack was fantastic-- he explained things to us about our boiler that we never knew. He was thorough and worked fast. When he left, our hot water and heat were both working better than they have in years. He even went above and beyond to make friends with my annoying dog.
The prices were pretty much as we expected, although service stars has a unique way of pricing that actually makes sense!
without a doubt I would recommend Service Stars -- and Jack, to anyone in need of repairs!

A friend is getting quotes on a new heating system and called these guys out for whatever reason. They're nuts. Gave 4 quotes and their cheapest was thousands higher than the second highest company of all the quotes. The best part is when he asked about equipment specs they told him they can't give info on it as they haven't figured that stuff out yet. WHAT?!?!? How are these guys handing out multiple estimates on new equipment but don't even know what equipment brands and BTUs they're gonna install? And they want 18k-30k of his money? Lmao. Don't use these guys. They're swindlers. Over charging anyone they can also trying to sell things people don't need.

I would definitely recommend Service Stars. Jack was here today to service my air conditioner. He was very thorough. Explained everything thoroughly and spent a lot of time cleaning my air-conditioning unit. He explained any issues that I may have or may have in the future. Jack was very friendly and personable! Thanks Jack for the excellent job.

Beware, the only reason they are getting one star is because I can't give zero. I've had nothing but trouble from day 1 with heat pumps service stars installed. Fins in two units fell off for no reason (of course they accused me of breaking them both the exact was way) it took YEARS for them to make good on it. One system is leaky from the get go. They've ""fixed"" the leak and recharged the system at different times. This year it is still blowing hot. They wouldn't do anything without a fee ""out of warranty"" I guess after enough time they get to wash their hands of their shoddy work without making it right. I refuse to give them any more money so I hired another hvac contractor to look at it. Wouldn't you know, they had marked inside the side panel ""leak fixed here"" and go figure, it's still leaking Right there where they supposedly fixed it. The owner wouldn't talk to me even though I requested he call back, he made his manager do it and who told me it's not their fault that the system is leaking, it just happens. What a racket!

Had my annual heating tune up and couldn't be happier with the service. Jack was professional and knowledgeable and explained all work in detail. Highly recommend Jack and the entire Service Star Team to all in need of heating, plumbing, air and electrical work.

asked for a full heating system quote. one guy showed up then went dark in spite of my repeated calls. then one of the ""owners? finally came a month later and spent 3 hours with me and hard sale pitch. gave a verbal quote and I asked to receive it in writing and he never responded. I called twice asking with no response. if this is what they do when you are ready to buy what do they do after????? stay away.. sleazy.

Installed new coil and outside compressor. Didn't call me to schedule install - I had to chase them. Coil duct work miss-alignment by 1in using flexible coupling causes duct restriction - installer & manager didn't even acknowledge problem. New system didn't fix my issue- upstairs zone will still not cool below 74. Superheat on new system was only 2 degrees- way below manufacturers guidelines. Feel like I wasted my money with these guys.
