asked for a full heating system quote. one guy showed up then went dark in spite of my repeated calls. then one of the ""owners? finally came a month later and spent 3 hours with me and hard sale pitch. gave a verbal quote and I asked to receive it in writing and he never responded. I called twice asking with no response. if this is what they do when you are ready to buy what do they do after????? stay away.. sleazy.

Installed new coil and outside compressor. Didn't call me to schedule install - I had to chase them. Coil duct work miss-alignment by 1in using flexible coupling causes duct restriction - installer & manager didn't even acknowledge problem. New system didn't fix my issue- upstairs zone will still not cool below 74. Superheat on new system was only 2 degrees- way below manufacturers guidelines. Feel like I wasted my money with these guys.

Disclaimer - Writing review mid-process

A/C unit isn't working properly. Called Service Stars based on their strong positive reviews. They were very helpful on the phone in helping me think through the right path forward. Unfortunately, they couldn't schedule me for over a month. I decided to still schedule since they had great reviews.

Fast forward, they had to reschedule the day of the planned visit because the technician was sick. Totally understandable. I have a little one at home and a pregnant wife so was very grateful that they thought to call and protect our family. They rescheduled for the next day and apologized for the inconvenience. So far, they are living up to their name of Service Stars

I had called to set up an initial inspection for a plumbing job I needed to have done. On the initial call I asked if they offered financing to which they said yes, and this is why I chose to set up the appointment. I had to pay the $90 for the initial inspection which I had no issue with. After the visit and all information was discussed, the individual called the loan provider and then called me back reporting ""they don't finance for landlord tenant relationships."" So on my first call I made a point to ask a question regarding financing, with no questions asked of me only to be told after the visit I paid for, that they could not finance the job. The employee they sent out was great, but then he referred to me to his supervisor: Marisa. I explained the situation and why I felt I should be reimbursed the cost of the visit. Marisa replied telling me that I was supposed to tell them that I was a landlord, which if Marisa knew anything about being a company, YOU are responsible for asking questions regarding the service YOU provided. So to start she tried to blame me for their mistake. So I told her why I wanted my reimbursement to which she said ""sometimes we don't have time to answer two million questions on the phone."" So this ""supervisor"" took my concern about 1 question, and exaggerated that into 2 million... again, to blame me for their mistake. I suppose this is service stars professionalism at its finest supervisor level.

I was very pleased with this company. I had to renovate the space entirely (beauty salon) and only had a slight vision of what it should look like. The owner Jeremy came to look at the job and gave suggestions that I agreed with and it turned out beautiful. Everything went smooth- from consultation, booking an appointment with receptionist to the guys coming out and doing the job in one day. 2 electricians and a plumber were very knowledgeable and experienced. Cannot recommend this company enough!

Our appt window was from 8-10am, and Eric showed up at 9am. We had a laundry list of items to be done immediately, and some things that would have to be done later so needed quotes. Eric patiently listened to each item, advised the cost and with the go-ahead, went straight to work.

Since most of our items were things to be done in the future, he suggested a club membership. For a $29/mo fee, service fees were reduced to $69, tune ups for a/c were include (after 6 mo), tune ups for heating system were included after a year as well as plumbing and electrical inspections. Warranty was doubled, priority given on service calls and 15% discount on current repairs and future repairs. So for today's visit alone, I saved ~$50. What I didn't know was they also do electrical work, which I'm sure I will need in the near future.

Expense aside, Eric was a pleasure to have. I would strongly recommend you give them a chance and see for yourself.

Excellent company! Highly recommend. Real customer service. I've used this company for several service calls with both electrical and plumbing repairs over the last year. They are polite, clean, and they do excellent work. They are now my go to company. More recently we had an issue with our central a/c's electrical connection (installed by a different company) ... during the 7/20/19 heat wave. Justin, Electrician, came to the house first thing in the morning and got us up and running. Eric, Plumber, was at the house yesterday to install a new kitchen faucet. I couldn't be more pleased. I called Service Stars after moving in to a new home and the AC stopped working on the 1st day of summer! I called several places and got repair person's cell phones or voicemails. Very few places had an actual person that answered. Service Stars has an office with people who know the answers to questions you might have and they are quick to solve your issue and timing requests. The tech was prompt and came when they said they would. They put on shoe covers when they came in the house. Were polite and easy to talk to. They ordered the part I needed and were back in a day or so to install and have me up and running again. I would highly recommend them!
