Extremely overpriced and looking to upsell even before providing a quote for the original job.

Came in to bid on a job to install 2 bathroom sink faucets. They quoted $1400. Four other services quoted between $200-500.

They made it right! The true definition of professional is maintaining a high-level of committment even during challenging situations. Service Professionals did just that. We had some emotional years with our basement due to the impact of IDA a few years back and when our sewer cleaning/flush went poorly, we were furious. We reached out to Service Professionals to address a horrible mess and they not only handled the clean-up $, they repaired our floor and made us a priority until we were 100% satisfied. Which we are. AC had been working fine. Had annual maintenance on Sat. July 8th. Tech told us we needed to replace our compressor. Total bill for maintenance call and compressor was a little under 500.00. The tech seemed very professional so we gave him a 5 star review. 12 hours later AC stopped working. Called the after hours number twice (it was very hot and humid). Left two messages with their on call people and did not get a return call until Monday Morning.
On Monday the same tech came out and charged us another maintenance call. Have called their customer service dissatisfaction number to discuss but did not get a response. Emailed them to tell them what happened but still no response. The worst customer service I have encountered in a very long time. The 5 star review has turned into a 1 star review.

Service Professionals of Union have been our AC company since install. For 16 years they serviced or fixed an issue we would have with our AC. Last week our AC stopped working. Service Professionals was called and Zak came out. First time to my home. After being here 1/2 hour he came in with pictures and said our machine was no longer working. Wires were burned etc and we have a R22 system which no longer is used so would I like him to send someone out to talk about a new AC. We told him no as we are looking to sell our home. He told us he could try and do a repair which would run us about a thousand dollars but he couldn't guarantee it would even work an hour. We thanked him and said we would let them know our decision. My husband used to be a troubleshooter for a utility company and we know someone with hvac knowledge so we asked him to come take a look for a second opinion. He came over and between him and my husband they changed 2 wires that took 20 minutes and my AC a week later is still working fine. Do the repairmen get commision on upsell???? 2 wires - twenty minutes and he told me over a THOUSAND DOLLARS to try and fix it. Up until now I thought they were a reputable company. If I was a senior citizen with no knowledge this would have cost me upwards of $13000.00. After it was fixed and up and running my husband called to tell the owner what happened and they said the estimate which their repairman wrote up and I never received was accurate. What my husband and his friend did would have cost $1100.00 because they don't charge hourly they charge per job. So I will try to be fair and say they would have done a little more than my husband did and it would have taken them an hour. My bill still would have been $1100.00. That is some profit. BE VERY VERY WARY about their pricing and if you can get a second estimate. It might save you a lot of money. Will never trust them again. Feel Totally Taken Advantage Of,

They were more interested in getting a person down here to charge me a guaranteed $100 than to ask rudimentary questions to determine whether they could even do the job I requested. Avoid.

I needed a main water valve replaced in a 10 unit condo. The plumber wanted us to ""get air behind water"" by opening all the faucets in a bunch of units. We coordinated with the other owners and were able to get 8 of the owners to comply. After many calls to his manager, the plumber insisted that wasn't good enough, didn't even check if the pipe was dry enough to work on, and left. I got another plumber to do the work. He replaced the valve without touching any faucets outside of my own. He was on site less than an hour. The charge was 1/3 what I was quoted by Service Professionals. S/P had the gall to charge me a dispatch fee. Myself and my neighbors were highly inconvenienced by what should have been a very easy job. Not competent at all.

had to wait 3 days in single digit temperatures with no heat. when they finally fixed the problem they overcharged me to an absurd amount. $1,794.85 for 2 parts and installation which took no more than 2 hours if not less, 1 part that cost $178.27 and the other less than $20.00. The customer service manager is unprofessional, incompetent and needs to be retrained or replaced

This company is a rip off! You cannot get an approximate estimate of a simple job (like mine was...replacing a kitchen faucet) without them coming out and charging you $69. Once he looked over everything and told me that all the plumbing was good it would cost me $818!!!! I even had the faucet! They are an absolute rip off and I would NOT recommend them to anyone!!!

Knowledgeable and professional. Explained what was needed and how it would improve our system. the most important equipment in your house you should use the best!
