I called regarding a small leak in the attic. They said they would have someone there in two days. When they did not show up as scheduled I called, they did not have anyone to do the work. (why didn't you call me!) They finally got someone the were here for 10 minutes and used a little bit of material (They left more material in my attic than they used for the job). Then charged me way too much! Not a fan.

If you call Service Plumbing, prepare to be hosed. Their billing practices are unfair, bordering on corrupt. I recently had a clog in a sewer line that I couldn't get at with snake and called them up. One guy appeared, with sewer augur. He pulled the toilet, reamed the line, and reinstalled the toilet; it was all over in less than an hour. The work was good, no complaints. However, I received a bill for $500. When I complained I was told that was the standard fee for this sort of work regardless of how long it took. I was told that in auto shops, if a 10-hour job takes 9.5 hours, that's just how it goes. I'm prepared to pay a plumber $125 plus travel, and maybe a surcharge for a piece of equipment. $250 would have been reasonable. Not $500. Do not patronize.

The service man came to repair my sink and stole my wedding ring. I left a message for the owner with the person who answers the phone and nobody returned my call. I guest they are related. Beware once a thief always a thief. His name was Jason he did write me a receipt.

I decided to call this company after seeing their trucks working a few houses in my neighborhood. I needed an inspection and work to be done on a fixer that I just purchased. At first, my problem was minimized and then was told to hold while, ""she checked with the other girl's availability"" and then I was told that they are so behind other contract jobs that they are a month out to even survey what was needed. If you need someone right now...as most plumbing problems are of the ""right now"" nature. This is NOT your company!

Poor Workmanship Without Consideration for Making Things Right!

Unfortunately I was introduced to Service Plumbing by one of Charlotte's premier builders. Their workmanship was very poor and their response to multiple acts of ignorant negligence was to attempt billing at a higher than market rate to fix what they didn't have the knowledge or basic skills to properly install. Straight Up...this company is a 2 out of 10 in regard to ability and workmanship and a zero in regard to customer service.

Amazing service. On time, excellent work and FAST. Justin is the Ninja Plumber. I will never use another plumber. Agree with post by Le H - they don't need to advertise, but the best builders in town refer clients to them.

Be aware this company over charges you
I had problem with my grinder pump. I was told that service call will be $125 and they handed a $265 bill to me and to not to even correct the problem. I was told that the replacement pump will cost $2,250 when I knew the cost of the pump is not more than $700 the most. After I refuse to have them change the pump, the technician did not bother to put it back in place and was leaving the pump in the middle of my yard.

I called Service Plumbing to fix two leaking bathroom sinks. The first sink was fixed with no problem. The technician did not bother to fix the second sink. I called the office and complained, since I had already paid for the service. They sent him back out the following day. He was in and out before I could check the work. Once I did check out the sink, I noticed that it was still leaking. I called back to the office and requested another plumber. They can not get another plumber out for another week. I do not feel that Service Plumbing is putting the customer first, and have had a horrible experience with them.

This company is the best plumbing company I have ever worked with over the past 30 years. Excellent workmanship, response time, etc... I have had to use the company for three major events over the past five years; main water pipe to the house broke (they had to dig down six+ feet), clogging of a main water drain that caused flooding and finally repair of frozen pipes that occurred during the arctic freeze this week (January 8, 2014).

The response time was amazing on the emergency calls. You will not go wrong with this company, they are well established with a large team of professionals. The don't really advertise, I found them through a referral.
