Indeed something is scary wrong with this company. They sent a young man out to do a sprinkler head repair in the backyard. The young man seemed pleasant, but he definitely acted like he had no clue about what he was doing. He had to keep calling someone else at his company and asking them questions. I left him alone to do his work, and I told him I would be inside if he needed me.
Next thing I know my painter got my attention in a hurry....he said he just SAW this man messing with the pipes in the FRONT of our house, and that the he had broken a pipe (in an area where he was not even working)....and that this Service Now repairman just took off. My painter said he offered to help the guy, but the young man just ran to his truck/van and tore off.
My PAINTER then ran to shut off the water - it was a geyser flooding our street. I am shocked that the Service Now repairman broke the pipe, and just took off leaving the water gushing like that.
If my PAINTER knows how to turn off the water, shouldn't THIS PLUMBING/SPRINKLER repairman have done that rather than leave it gushing?
A few hours later this Service Now repairman reappeared at my front door. He presented me with an $800 bill. I was stunned at the $$$ amount (fairly certain now that he charged me for the damage that he did, the repair of his damage and his time). I was so stunned at the whole experience. He scrambled out of here with water gushing, doesn't turn the water off, and later charges me $800.00 for a sprinkler repair?
I regret not checking the YELP reviews before calling this company.

Don't do it.... It's ""service not""!
This company must be laughing their way to the bank.... Every day. After spending the majority of the service time arguing with the technician trying to explain the problem and what me ""the customer"" wanted.
I know my yard and sprinkler behaviors better than anyone. And yet He wanted no part of listening to me. All He did was talk his way out of doing any work and tell me what HE wanted to do. And then give me a $375 bill for changing a sprinkler timer and sprinkler head.
He challenged everything I tried to tell him. When I wanted another sprinkler put in he told me no it's getting spray from the sprinkler but in the meantime that area is crispy brown and dead. And when I asked about putting in a new line for that area he wanted no part of it. His answer.... ""not even sure we can get trencher in here (mind you I have double door gates to my property that a tractor was able to get through) and by the way it will cost you about $1300 to trench the area which is all of 15 feet. (I could have dug it myself). I finally said ""enough"". Just fix timer and sprinkler--- but oh, and he didn't even have a timer on his truck so he left for an hour+ then came back. Never once did cost come up...
Just a fat invoice for $375 for installing a $40 timer at best and $10 sprinkler head with his total on-site time of 90 minutes which includes all his arguing.
Guess someone had to pay for those trucks to be painted with ""service now""! For me it's service robbery. Buyer beware of these guys. Not my first rodeo with them either... Shame on me for doing it again. Shame shame shame.

THIS COMPANY DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK, even though they charge top dollar. I had a water main leak, called them, and they ""repaired"" it for a small fortune. A month and 1/2 later, it started leaking again in the same spot, and they refused to even dig it up again to see if their repair had failed. They told me ""we don't guarantee repairs."" I would NEVER use them again.

Called ""Sprinkler Logic"" in Sac for a repair. The company they sent is part of them and was ""Service Now"". Showed up right on time. I'd had these sprinklers repaired before and the other tech had a problem with them, not so with Service Now. Fixed it quickly and at a reasonable price. Very professional tech. worked on my system. I will use them again if I have any sprinkler problems. Tech is local to Woodland, where I am. Will contact them if I have plumbing problems as I assume they will be just as professional.

The owner, Jimmy Chillquist, was so good to work with right from the start. He and one of his employees - Keith - came out a total of three times before I even hired them! I have another review on their other company - Sprinkler Logic - because they both worked on my backyard drain project. See that review for my 5-Star rating on the work that was done.
This review is on Jimmy and Keith before I hired them. As I mentioned, they came out a total of three times before we even gave them the go ahead on this project. They snaked my house drains to see where they were flowing to after my pool was put in and all of my drains were destroyed. No other company did this - that would have been ignored by the two other companies I had called out. It turned out the job was a lot bigger than my pool guy had explained and if it weren't for Jimmy's expertise we would've been screwed come Winter.
As I mentioned in my other review - these guys were the most expensive - but they were also the most thorough, professional and considerate of all the companies I called out. Their customer service was excellent. Out of this whole nightmare pool building experience this summer - Service Now and Sprinkler Logic were the highlights. I would recommend them 100%!

We called Service Now! at 7pm on a Monday night. Greg Hill showed up at 8 and fixed the backed up sewer by 9. He was super friendly and went beyond the call of duty by helping me get a baby bird back in its nest. Great customer service. We will definitely use them again.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! I called to have my bathtub drain snaked. No biggie I thought. I was sorely mistaken. ""Chris Lucas"" came out for what I assumed would be a simple job. After an hour, he hadn't made much improvement. He claimed that it was much better, and I eventually lost patience and agreed, simply to make him leave, so I could feed my crying infant son. $200 and another awkward half an hour later, waiting for authorization of my credit card from his dispatch, he finally left.
The tub was not at all better...and Chris left the bathtub stained and scratched. I called the company back. I should have requested a different technician but didn't want to be excessively rude. Chris again snaked my drain, and this time pulled up one of my son's tiny washcloths that I had accidently let go down the drain. Problem solved I thought. Perhaps it was worth dealing with Chris...I was again, very mistaken. That evening I noticed a terrible smell eminating from the bathroom, I wrote it off as the beans I fed my husband for dinner. But the smell persisted. I quickly realized that this offensive odor was raw sewage. Yes. Sewage. I may not be a plumber, but I am a mechanic, and common sense suggested that Chris had created a hole in my tubs P-trap. I called the company back, and requested a different technician. I no longer had the patience for Chris. The new technician came and was directed to the crawl space beneath my house. When he emerged, he told me that there was indeed a hole in the tubs P-trap, and that it would cost $1000 to fix. Great. The technician quickly got defensive saying that any damage done by snaking would not hold them liable. He was quick to add that this was stated in the fine print. He seemed to have made this speech on numerous occasions. I have no desire to further support this company, and will seek assistance from their negligence elsewhere, as it appears that I will receive no compensation for my plumbing being destroyed.
Until I can get this issue resolved, I now have to run the fan, keep the window open, and the bathroom door shut to make my home even habitable. I cannot believe how I have been treated, and wish to warn people so it dosent happen to you as well.

Stay away- overpriced, rude and pushy! Jimmy came out (who was really nice and gave a lot of false promises). After reassuring me that for $900 my sprinklers would be up and running and his tech would go over the whole system and explain all issues to me... $1350 later and after the tech is gone I have a pipe sticking out of the ground that is shooting water (this was not happening prior to his visit) and several sprinkler stations will not turn on. Called Jimmy and he sent his tech back out who was very rude, treated me like I was cheap after spending $1350 for 3 sprinkler valves and 2 broken pipes. At first he told me he would have fixed the broken pipe had he noticed it and 2 minutes later he said he noticed it but set that broken pipe to a station that doesn't go off. Here comes the best part, he wanted to charge me $150 service call to come back out... To fix the stuff the he messed up and should have discussed with me 12 hours prior when I paid $1350. When I said I didn't think a service fee was fair he said: ""just because you used our services yesterday, doesn't mean that we will provide future services for free."" SERIOUSLY??? Do the job right the first time! Rip off, overpriced pushy with sales and rude!!! Stay away!

I called these guys out to fix the kitchen and laundry drain lines and they only fixed the kitchen. I had to get them back out to do the laundry and they charged me again! And since I wasn't in the area they said they would send me a receipt. Three weeks later I'm still waiting!

Called Service Now because their add stated ""free estimates"". They came out and said they would need to do a video camera inspection which would cost $200.00 to determine the problem. We declined since that cost was only to determine the problem...which is not a free estimate, right?. The technician said they were using very expensive equipment to justify the cost. Again, we declined. The technician left and shortly afterwards we received a call from his supervisor. The supervisor was very rude and pushy in questioning why we called them if we didn't want to use their services. Not a way to win our business.
