One of the worst experiences I've ever had with any sort of home service. The one good thing I'll say is they did come out on short notice when my AC went out -- after that it's become nightmare after nightmare. The system wasn't properly installed, the team was unprofessional, and after voicing complaints they've just stopped responding to us even though we have a 1 year long contract with them for the new system. After spending $15,000 it might be the worst purchase I've ever made.

I called at 10:00 am and my repair guy was here at 1:00. He was fast and accurate, friendly and courteous. He repaired my dish washer and my garbage disposal in just a few minutes. This company is locally owned and I'm so glad I found them!

I didn't have great luck with my dishwasher they tried to repair. $700 later it still did not work and they refused to return calls. I had to buy a new one.

We got home from a friend's and our air conditioning was blowing warm air. Even at night, San Antonio heat is brutal. With two dogs and a cat, we couldn't wait for the long Labor Day weekend to pass. My husband called Service First and got a technician scheduled for late in the evening. The owner called and was able to get a technician to our hours almost 6 hours earlier than expected. The technician quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Our A/C was running and blowing cold air within a few minutes of it being fixed. We are extremely grateful for Service First's quick responsiveness, professionalism and great work. You should know that it is $129 for a technician to come out for an emergency call and wish that would be reduced if you have to pay for additional work. I will gladly recommend Service First to friends and co workers in San Antonio. We will most likely need to replace our whole unit next year and plan to reach out to Service First as a first step.

Coming back from a long Holiday Weekend to find out A/C is out and house is unbearably hot. Even with it being 9PM on a Sunday, Service was quick and courteous. A/C was back online what seemed in a matter of minutes, huge relief, and now they will be my first to call when it comes to anything A/C related with my house. Thanks again Service First!

I have used Service First AC & Heating twice now and have had great experiences both times.When your AC stops blowing cold during a San Antonio summer, it is an emergency! Service First understands this. I called a couple other places that had high yelp ratings, but they were too busy to take my call, and another could not make it out until the next day, Service First took my call even after 8 pm and promised to have a tech out that night.
Not only did Marco show up, but he is very friendly, knowledgable, hard working, and honest. He had our AC blowing cold, explained what needed to be done, and even told me that he would call our AC manufacturer the next day to see if he could get the part replaced under warranty. He called the next morning with good news-- it was under warranty and he made the phone calls to save me over $100 himself. That is going above and beyond what any customer could expect.
Also, Sam called me every 30 minutes or so to update me on how long it would be before Marco could get there, and continued to reassure me that it would be done that same night. These guys are great and have very fair prices as well! I am a veteran, and they offered me a military discount to save additional 10%. Respect!

Look no further if you're looking for singularly stellar customer service. After a negative experience with another local AC company, I reached out to Service First Air Conditioning, and from the phone conversation to the service call, this company was and is a step above the rest. They came out to my residence last Thursday morning, provided a thorough evaluation and assessment of my unit (both internal and external), and then took the time to discuss my options. It was indeed time to retire my 21 year old unit, and, after being offered the option of 0% APR for 3 years, I went ahead with a new unit. They came the same day (within the hour) and began to disassemble my old unit, and install the new unit. The entire team, from the service technician Joseph and his apprentice Andres, to the sales representative Omar, to the installation team, Johnny and Javier, every aspect of this transaction was professional, pleasant, organized, thorough, detail oriented, and stellar. They all wore foot covers and were respectful of my home, paying attention to my furniture and carpet, to make sure that nothing was damaged during the installation. They went the extra mile and above and beyond. By 6pm, I had a brand new internal/external AC unit, and truly the singular best customer service experience I have ever had. By 6:30pm I received a call from Sammy checking on me and the installation to confirm that I had a pleasant experience and that everything was to my liking. I look forward to building a relationship with this company for my yearly servicing of my residential unit and my rental property unit.

Quick response, great service and a quick install when my HVAC unit broke down over a long holiday weekend, of course (they want your money, right?). After they have your money however, they completely fall apart. A list of issues that have popped up since they installed my new system:
- They were to provide me with paperwork to receive a rather substantial CPS rebate. Never got it.
- They installed the new unit so that it is impossible to replace the filters due to the proximity of the door frame the units sits in. An speaking of filters...
- The new unit was supposed to come with a year's worth of free filter replacements, which never appeared.
- The Wi-Fi thermostat they installed likes to turn itself off at random times due to improper installation, which we had a different HVAC company fix.
Be careful with your money, folks. These people will over promise and under-deliver. I have been trying to contact Heydis, the office manager for three weeks now with no luck because they are constantly out of the office with what seems to be no set schedule, so I've given up and I'll find another HVAC company who doesn't seem to take so many shortcuts or make so many excuses for shoddy work.

One of the best and fastest services i have ever received. Dennis's service and knowledge was more than i expected. he walked me through everything he was doing and explaining everything so that i understood. i recommend that you ask for him and i recommend to use their service.

We needed an estimate on our A/C and our compressor, both of which were 30+ years old.
I got a very good price on both pieces, plus duct repairs. When I asked them how soon could they start, they said immediately. This was at noon. Approximately 10 1/2 hours later I had a new system installed with zero issues.
I was highly satisfied with their prices and work ethic. Later, I had one question about some ductwork and rather than talk to me over the phone they sent a repairman out. He looked at it and made some minor adjustments. I couldn't believe the service.
