Our air conditioner drain was plugged. I called 4 different HVAC service businesses that claimed they did 24 hour service. The only one that was able to respond with actual service was Service First. They told me that the service man would respond between 10/11pm and we also discussed the cost of the repair (which was reasonable). As promised, Rolando showed up just after 10pm. He was cordial and cheerful and gave me every confidence that he would get this fixed quickly. He flushed the drain and double checked that flow had been restored by pouring water through the drain - my confidence was well placed! The cost of the repair was exactly what I had discussed with the dispatcher.
About Rolando, he was just a great person. I'm not sure if its the management of this business or just Rolando - or both, but he was a pleasure to do business with.

I was charged a $129 mandatory residential service trip fee, I was given a window of 11 am-1 pm and the technician arrived at 2 pm. If I pay a compulsory service fee, I expect them to be on time. They do not waive the fee with a repair like many other companies do which is disappointing. My capacitor needed to be replaced and they charged me $389 for an $89 part then I also had 1.5-2 pounds of R410A freon added to my system and they charged me $125 per pound, that's insane... I won't be using them again and recommend you look elsewhere, I spoke to a friend after I had my repair done and he recommended Goettl and I'll try them next if any issues arise. I ended up paying them over $700, I will note that Sebastian their technician was knowledgeable and friendly but their prices are ridiculously high and their trip fee is unnecessary, especially with a repair.

A/C issues are serious business in Texas and I've learned in one visit who to call. Our Service First technician, Rolando, is an earnest professional who clearly wanted to investigate rather than make uninformed guesses. This is an unusual trait in service technicians who usually display a "I know more than you" attitude. We found this approach refreshing and very appealing.
He spent extra time to diagnose, research, and attempt to find replacement parts, while keeping us informed of his progress.
Another company's tech quoted a $1600 job WITHOUT a full diagnostic. Service First provided a full diagnostic (gratis) AND fixed the problem in one call. Outstanding.
Like any repair company, shop around...but if you land on Service First you may have a winner.

Had them come out and fix my A/C on the 4th last year 9/4/21 they finished the job at 1:30am any way i got home from vacation last night and found my ac wasn't working due to the same problem because the warranty expires on the day I paid not the day the work is completed they will not honor the warranty kinda BS for a $1300.00 job

Our account went out on July 3.. we seniors with 2 dogs,plus I didn't feel well.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had with any sort of home service. The one good thing I'll say is they did come out on short notice when my AC went out -- after that it's become nightmare after nightmare. The system wasn't properly installed, the team was unprofessional, and after voicing complaints they've just stopped responding to us even though we have a 1 year long contract with them for the new system. After spending $15,000 it might be the worst purchase I've ever made.

I called at 10:00 am and my repair guy was here at 1:00. He was fast and accurate, friendly and courteous. He repaired my dish washer and my garbage disposal in just a few minutes. This company is locally owned and I'm so glad I found them!

I didn't have great luck with my dishwasher they tried to repair. $700 later it still did not work and they refused to return calls. I had to buy a new one.

We got home from a friend's and our air conditioning was blowing warm air. Even at night, San Antonio heat is brutal. With two dogs and a cat, we couldn't wait for the long Labor Day weekend to pass. My husband called Service First and got a technician scheduled for late in the evening. The owner called and was able to get a technician to our hours almost 6 hours earlier than expected. The technician quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Our A/C was running and blowing cold air within a few minutes of it being fixed. We are extremely grateful for Service First's quick responsiveness, professionalism and great work. You should know that it is $129 for a technician to come out for an emergency call and wish that would be reduced if you have to pay for additional work. I will gladly recommend Service First to friends and co workers in San Antonio. We will most likely need to replace our whole unit next year and plan to reach out to Service First as a first step.

Coming back from a long Holiday Weekend to find out A/C is out and house is unbearably hot. Even with it being 9PM on a Sunday, Service was quick and courteous. A/C was back online what seemed in a matter of minutes, huge relief, and now they will be my first to call when it comes to anything A/C related with my house. Thanks again Service First!
