We had frozen and broken pipes due to the recent severe weather in North Texas. Most other plumbers wouldn't come out for a week or more. Dustin and Tyler from Levy & Son came out the same day. They worked until after 10 at night to repair the plumbing and get our water back. They were courteous and professional. They really went above and beyond to help out their customers in the middle of this natural disaster!

Talked to a customer service before the service call/quote. She mentioned the $5 a month Advantage program, this waives the $99 service call/quote and you get some other perks. I asked her I wanted to sign up at that time. She said to mention to the on site service personnel about signing up or he will also make sure I am notified about the program. I intended to sign up since the program waives the service fee/quote but once the technician showed up and gave me a quote I forgot to. I paid the $99 service fee and decided to hold off on the work. Less than 24hrs later I called and and asked them that I forgot to sign up and the technician never notified me of the program. Supervisor refused to refund the $99, they said I can sign up currently and $99 cannot be refunded because I forgot to mention it to service personnel at the time of service call. They used the program for us to go with them initially and we ended up never being able to actually use the program. This was actually our fault for forgetting but a legitimate company would most likely honor the program and refund the $99. Plus the 1 minute quote was outrageous, $1200 was the initial quote from service personnel. Right after I asked how much parts, labor, and hours of work would be, he gave me a quick run down but was not able to. But after me saying wow, that is way too
much he immediately decreased it to $625. Why quote double and come down after the customer questions the price? I priced the parts at Apex, came to about $100. Going with another company.

They are great for HVAC work, but the incorrectly installed plumbing for a new bathtub because the plumbers incorrectly measured where to place the new piping. Now they're wanting payment!! AWFUL!!!

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE LEVY AND SON. I had them over for a "free servicing" through TXU energy. They called me up to the attic to show me some junk in the coils. There was a little bit but not too bad. They said they would clean it out for me and get me going. The very next day, the overflow line was dripping. Great. I hop up in the attic to look at it and the Pan is FULL of this nastiness. WAY more than it was the day before. So I go up there with a cup and a spoon and clean out the crap THEY said they would do. In the middle of Texas summer heat. I clean an insane amount of junk out, and it's been working for months just fine. Went back to attic a month later and looked at it and there was nothing in the pan. So where did it come from? The insulation from the cover. That's right, they scraped that crap off the cover and used it to clog it.

How do I know that is what they did? There was visible scrape marks on it. And the entire time that guy was in the attic up there, I was downstairs talking to his "assistant" about how bad I needed to replace my unit and it's only a matter of time till it died or caused major issues. While that was happening, they were sabotaging my unit upstairs.

Bottom line, avoid Levy like the plague it is. No businesses should operate this way. Tons of reviews online line up exactly with my experience. I'm just thankful I knew how to fix their mistake before they ripped me off and conned me into replacing everything.

Called after hours for an ac emergency. They said they would come the same day, but that they couldn't give a window. I was home waiting, they never contacted me again and never showed up.

I had an appointment set up between noon and 2 pm for a quote on doing some outdoor faucet work at my mom's house (she is elderly). After taking off work and waiting at my mom's during that time period, they called at 1:50 pm and said the plumber was "on the way". I asked when they expected to arrive and he said 30-40 minutes - which would have been way past 2 pm! The appointment time is when they are supposed to arrive, not a window in which to let me know they are "on the way". As I had to return back to work, I immediately cancelled. I may seem unreasonable, but I am tired of the lack of common courtesy these days. A simple phone call earlier to let me know they were not going to be on time would have made all the difference.
