Service Experts is helping Lennox unload their faulty, un-coated evaporator coils by installing them in homes as replacements. The fact that SE was once owned by Lennox and is located 6 miles apart in Texas and is now being used to unload bad parts should not the that surprising give the culture of public companies. When I called Lennox, they were surprised to hear that SE was still using the un-coated coils and recommended we use another service company. Shame on you Service Experts

We invited Service Experts to quote a new AC system that we need to replace an old, tired system. From the moment Kevin Y. walked in, he started selling their Advantage Plan leasing program - before even looking at our system for a suitable replacement. No matter the topic, he kept saying the the Advantage Plan was their smartest and most popular program. When I asked him to simply recommend equipment and give us a detailed quote for a cash sale,(along with the fine print of the leasing program) he said he'd have it to us by end-of-day. Nothing. I sent an email the next morning and got no response. Sent a text mid-day and got a phone call. """"Well, I've been really busy with emergencies but I can try to send you something now."""" I said don't bother. BEWARE PEOPLE: Kevin verbally quoted a system replacement at around $6850. (which is crazy high to begin with.) Advantage, his """"smartest plan"""" because it includes full warranty and service, costs $140 monthly. """"No money down and free annual service check!"""" There's a seven year minimum contract. That's almost $12,000 for a system that fairly costs $3500 installed! Kevin then kept saying that the best way to use the program was to keep it active for ten years, """"when systems like this start to break down."""" That's almost $17,000 for a $3500 system. The only Advantage with this plan goes to Service Experts. Big Time. Kevin didn't send us the quote because he knew that we weren't easy marks for his pitch. I'm sure there are many elderly and vulnerable people who buy into this usurious pitch which is sad. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE PLAYERS. Lance G.

Came out charges over $750.00 to replace outside fan blade ( and replaced motor because they claim they could not get screws out of motor ) a couple weeks later the line to house was freezing up and as we ALL know this is because it was low on freon. When we called company back to add freon they wanted to then replace entire unit. Spouted out how we could have legal issues if we called anyone to replace freon. Then charged another $85.00 . We called a competitor freon was added and found a leaking Schrader valve Fixed cheap and quick. We asked them to refund the at least the $85.00 and they refuse. USE ANYONE OTHER THAN SERVICE EXPERTS COOLING AND HEATING.

The technician came out for routine maintenance and he immediately recommended $3000 worth of extra that he calims that I needed. When I asked him to just perform the routine maintenance, he was not very happy. He did do a rush maintenance job and he told me that pressure on cooling units were low and I needed new A/C units immediately. After he left, I contacted another company to check the pressures on the units and they were all fine. He tried to steal money from me on two different issues that I do not even need. This was the last time I will ever call them. Beware of their tractics of selling services and products that you do not need.

Very expensive for there service, there total objective is to sell you new ac equipment whether you are in need of it or not, always get A second opinion.

Beware! This company intentionally broke our HVAC and that of 2 other families in our Condo to try and up sell us all new A/C units we didn't need. We live in a condo and had Service Experts come over to tune up our A/C twice. We learned after the second time how much of a mistake we made trusting this company. After the first time Service Experts came over for a routine tune up, our A/C stopped cooling a day after the """"service."""" When we called them back to fix the issue they blamed it on our equipment and said they couldn't make our A/C unit cool because it was ruined and needed to be upgraded. Mind you, we had no issue with the A/C until they stepped foot in our home. They proceeded to attempt to up sell us $5,000 worth of new equipment. We felt they were being dishonest and had another company come by to fix the issue Service Experts caused and it was such a simple fix that we weren't even charged to correct the issue. We've since learned from 2 other friends that they had similar experiences using Sercice Experts, where their A/C stopped working after a routine tune up performed by Service Experts. Service Experts attempted to up sell them equipment for thousands of dollars though their HVAC's were perfectly fine.

I have been with Service Experts for many years now and at last am writing the review they deserve. Service is great, they really know the business,and the staff is excellent. Mark Connal is who I request because he is good at knowing what to do with difficult issues that come up.VERY reliable. I am so glad they are on my team of workers on my home.

I received a one sentence apology from the manager lisa apology not accepted waisted a whole day for the second time with the most irresponsible company on this planet there is not a company that is below them the worst do not hire them they will say sorry for the poor service and how does it feel to get screwed by uneducated business people wow I still cannot believe how inept this company is please hire them so you can be another victim good luck you have no shot at good service

Service Experts is extremely reliable. I had an emergent situation and they really came through for me and sent a technician who arrived in 45 minutes. I was so impressed with their speed in responding and in addition they charged an extremely reasonable fee. The service technician (Esteban Woods) was so professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Anyone who needs prompt, reliable and reasonably priced service please try Service Experts !!!!

Howard came to install a Nest thermostat. My set up is not typical and he even knew more about my set up than Nest support did. He was very patient on the phone with Nest support, even when they were not helpful. I'm not sure we would've gotten it going if it wasn't for Howard. I will ask for him by name the next time.
