Had a pool heat pump installed last December. Unit has been broken for weeks!!! Still can't get any answers or service. DO NOT BUY POOL HEAT PUMP from Service Experts!

my house is now 81degrees. this is the third time on a one and a half year old unit that it has broken down.they were very high pressure to buy this unit from them. i spent almost 10,000.00 and it is garbage. should have kept my old one. it just needed coil replacement/repair. as i said, high pressure to buy this. their repair guy matt is very good. had another one who left it almost causing a fire because he jumped the wires instead of replacing a bad circuit breaker in the air handler. said i didn't need it. that caused the main circuit breaker to trip and left me with no power. chris, the manager didn't seem to care very much. by the way it is a lennox- next to top of the line.

Folks, this is not a HVAC company, but a sales & contracts company. Sure they have engineers, but more competent than them are their salesmen (who show up to the house minutes after engineers tell you something's gravely wrong with your A/C) and lawyers (who have constructed the most unfair contract ever). Yes, we should have read the fine print about their ridiculous Advantage program better, but under pressure (100F heat, ten people from Service Experts running around in the house), we did not, and that was ultimately what we were on the hook for, like other reviewers here. Since them, we have had our other A/C units serviced and replaced by other folks, and they are infinitely better and more honest than this company who is playing 'gotcha' games with homeowners. Wouldn't be surprised if other good reviews here were paid. Like I said, good sales, marketing, and lawyering. Touché Service Experts. To the rest of potential clients out there, stay TF awaaaayyyyy. Avoid it like the plague.

This is a predatory company. Specifically their advantage program is a complete scam. We needed a new AC and the sales people pressured us into their advantage program, which entails then providing equipment and them servicing the unit when needed, covering repairs, etc. This comes at a high monthly rate (ours was about $165). What they do not adequately convey is that you lease their equipment and the monthly payment does not go towards the unit whatsoever. Should you want to pay off the unit (eg you move), you don't pay a depreciated value but nearly full cost. For example, if you want to pay it off after 7 years, you still owe 53%! This is after paying for 126 months! In our case, we wanted to sell the house 3 yrs after getting the unit and had to pay 94% the original cost, which was $10K. This is a very shady company. We also had them out for electrical issues for our other AC and they tried to do the same thing - claiming our unit was going to die. We called for a repair, tech showed up, said our unit was going to die and like clockwork a sales rep showed up! I kicked them all out of the house. We called Cool Advisors, who just replaced the blower motor ($200) and it's been running great ever since. This is the absolute worst company. Cool Advisors is amazing - 100% pick them over scammy service experts. Shame on them.

My air conditioning unit was not turning on so I called Service Experts. They examined the unit and told me that the problem was the Fan Motor was broken and there was a good possibility the condenser could also be broken. They wanted to be """"nice"""" and prevent me from putting more money to fix it...I should just enter into a 10-year $180 per month commitment in exchange for a leased Lenox a/c and unlimited service calls. I refused to sign on and called Ted of Moonlighters Air Conditioner the next day. Service Experts was wrong on every account. The problem was the Run Motor Capacitor. Part plus service call: a grand total of $120. The air conditioner works beautiful. Shame on Service Experts and their tactics!!!

Writing this review for Carlos, as sadly I had no cash to tip him, so hopefully Service Experts sees this and gives him a shout out! Our A/C was leaking water yesterday, persisted today, so we called to get it fixed. I called at around 6pm and Carlos arrived at about 9pm, which is pretty great for same day. The other place I called didn't even pick up He proceeded to vacuum out all the gunk from the drainage of the A/C that was causing it to overflow. He was super courteous and explained everything as he went along when I asked I had mentioned we had someone out from the same company a month ago when he arrived. Unprompted, he called the office and told us there was no charge as it was covered under warranty when he finished up Thank you so much! I love great service when you experience it

S/E installed our two Lennox units 11 years ago and has been maintaining them ever since under an annual service contract. In the early years, we had terrific service from a tech Dave T. who is, I believe, now the service manager. Post Dave, the quality of the service techs has ranged from competent to really terrible, with one even jamming the grids of our electronic air cleaners by installing them backwards. Lately, every time we had a service call S/E would send a salesman with the tech to pitch a Lennox LEASE program called Advantage. Friday, one of our a/c units died, and the other was iffy. S/E sent out a tech in the early evening. Joining him was the requisite salesman. When we were told the repair was going to cost well over $1,000 - the coolant alone was $850 - we decided it was time we replaced the 11 year old units. We said we wanted to buy new units. Both the salesman and the tech pushed a Lennox Advantage program. Being tired, we signed on the dotted line to get two new Lennox units a.s.a.p. Later that evening I read over what we had signed. It was in reality a LEASE where all the terms were in favor of Lennox. Something like a pre-nup where one spouse gets nothing and the other gets everything when the marriage ends. At the end of 10 years, we wouldn't own the units, and we would have to pay to get them removed. If we sold our home, a buyer would have to assume the LEASE, or the a/c units would be gone. Can you imagine trying to sell a house in south Florida that wouldn't have air conditioning? Fortunately, both federal and Florida law provide for a three day cancellation or recision period, and we cancelled. On Monday, we received a quote to purchase the same Lennox a/c units from another dealer. We weren't even required to sign a contract or give a deposit. WE SAVED AROUND $15,000. AND WE OWN OUR A/C UNITS. The machines were installed the next day and are great. During the installation, the techs discovered that the Lennox air filters in the air handlers that we had been paying S/E to maintain under a service contract had not been changed since 2019 and were filthy. This is just another example of the on again-off again quality of S/E's service.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM. The took our money to fix an air conditioning problem. The fix didn't even last 24 hours. They came back and said nothing could be done, and I needed a new air conditioning unit. They spent the entire visit giving me their SALES PITCH. The next day Riccardo fixed my air conditioner and it has now been fine for more than 3 weeks. They won't return my calls or emails. I am taking them to court. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Very SCARY!

I called on a Friday night and the tech arrived at 8:30 as he said. His name was Sergio. Very courteous and quick. Got the A/C working but he had to use a temporary part and he told me that someone would come the next day to put the permanent part. I called the next morning at about 10:30 and was told that the part could not be obtained until Monday. I wish someone would have called me instead of me calling them but a/c was working. Monday I called (no one called me) and I was told that I was on the schedule for the afternoon. By %:30 nothing. I called and was told that the tech (Mike) would call me. By 7:00 still nothing. I called again and someone answered and said that he would send an email. Next morning I called again. Young lady on the phone apologized said someone would call me. An hour later another lady called and apologized and said the tech was picking up the part and would call me. I received a call from Kris that he was on his way. He came by and put in the part which took him all of 10 minutes. I had paid Sergio on Friday and of course paid more as it was a Friday night call which is to be expected. Repair was quick tech's were good. This company needs to keep in touch with customers and not make them call several times as I had to and whoever Mike is should have shown up or called and explained why.

We have used Service Experts for over 110 years and have never had any problems with their services or technicians. They have kept our a/c units purring.
