Awful customer service and organization. I requested a technician to come to my home in the afternoon/ evening. The text message I received indicated they would be at my home from 8am- 5pm (I work full time and would be required to take off a full day of work versus only missing a couple of hours). The tech texted me at 10 am indicating they were in the area. I replied I was not in the area and needed to reschedule; no reply received nor did anyone follow up regarding an additional appointment. When I called 972-232-2810, their scheduler was extremely rude and unprofessional. She had a baby in the background which was crying and she was very abrupt when I was trying to explain I'm unable to take off work for a full day. She said "everyone has a job to do and we can't guarantee a four hour time window, it's based on OUR availability. You need us to do a service for you so you need to be available for US"! This philosophy of customer service is egregious!!!

Ditto to Jos G. except the technician seemed fine. American Home Shield partially approved what we needed done and we agreed to pay $350 because the tub or wall would need to be partially removed. But Service Contractors does not answer its phone or return calls. I waited almost two weeks before my call was returned. Then the receptionist told me that their company would not remove the panel in the tub. We would have to find someone else to do that before they could do their work. No recommendations. No apologies for not answering the phone or returning my calls.

DO NOT USE!! I wish I could give 0 stars to this company. They are horrible across the spectrum. Horrible technicians and horrible customer service. I was FORCED to use them through American Home Shield (call AHS and cancel them if they send them to you!!) The technician REEKED of cigarette smoke and did not wear a mask or show covers (didn't have them) In my house. He claimed he knew what was wrong with my issue, and said he was going to order the part. 3 weeks later I had to call and "Tina" said she didn't know what was going on and couldn't get in touch with the technician (Don't they have a note system in there computers??!!) but said they would call me back the next day... No phone call. So I called back 4-5 days later and they still had no clue what was going on and "couldn't get in touch with the technician". The "office manager", McKayla,?said she would call me back, but never did. The next thing I know, AHS sent me a message saying a new plumber was coming out because Service Contractors didn't know what was wrong. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT.

Seems like they stop answering phones at 3:45 on Friday even though they are open until 4. They're contracted for us through American Home Shield. Either they're lying about sending a report in on Monday or AHS is lying about receiving it. We've been without hot water for over a week. I just want to know when this will be fixed. If they had answered the phone, I wouldn't have to worry if I have another weekend without hot water in store. They don't post their hours hours on the website.

If I could give a negative rate, I would! They sent a person to look at our hot water heater and he said he will submit it to the home warranty company. 5 days later and they still hadn't received the work order. I called the warranty number and they contacted the contractor and finally a diagnosis was given . No idea when the hot water heater will be fixed. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

American Home Shield sent them out to diagnose our shower valve problem. The guy said the valve should be covered and He would be in touch to set up the repair as soon as AHS approved. He said I should "ask for him personally if there was any problem because he owns the (plumbing) company ". AHS denied the claim and KENNY never answered my messages nor returned my calls. In other words, he took the fee and closed the books on my claim. AHS said he told them my problem was not covered. They eventually sent a different company and covered everything.

I wish I could give a negative star!!! Scamming.. and very disrespectful. Run from any orders assigned to this company from your Home Warranty.. their 'service technicians' and dispatch they know the home warranty contract rules and they lie about what is needed and work the deal in the way that makes them the most profit vs. what is best for the homeowner and the repair.. Since the plumbing leak call they were dispatched to fix on 8/1/19, they said there was no leak, yet our leak has continued.. and is CURRENTLY LEAKING and in the past 3-4 months might have caused tens of thousands in damages in seepage to our subfloor of our kitchen through the cabinet under the sink because they DID NOT REPAIR IT... You CAN ASK your warranty company to BLACKLIST them for your orders, and you most certainly should.. Question: what plumbing company charges $80 for a water heater drip pan that is $18 at full retail price at lowes or home depot? Answer: Service Contractors of Texas - that's who.. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!

Our AC went out on July 3rd and I figured I was in for a long hot holiday weekend. However, after placing my service request with our warranty company, I called Service Contractors to see when I could get my appointment and was thrilled that someone could come out on the 4th of July. My technician was Dak, he arrived on time and was very professional. He tested everything and hosed out the unit, replaced the compressor capacitor and I was good to go. Then we woke up on Sat the 20th to a warm house and no ac. Unfortunately, we had to survive the weekend this time. With an appointment scheduled for Monday between 10 and 2, I was delighted to learn that put us first on his list and we at our house by 9. Quickly identifying that the fan motor wasn't blowing, he replaced the fan capacitor and once again, we were good to go.

Thank you Service Contractors and Dak for taking such good care of us.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I got a work order sent to them from American Home Shield back in October of last year to fix two of my toilets that were leaking and running constantly and the shutoff valves would not shut off. They called fairly promptly to set up an appointment, but what is the worst thing about this company is their management and scheduling dept. They will not give you a time they can be there until 1 hr before they will arrive. They can't tell you if it could be morning or afternoon. They are completely inflexible with scheduling. It too them THREE WEEKS to get the repairs completed, and when they finally did come, they did not have the proper parts and charged me another $225 to make the repairs that I had already paid the service fee for to AHS. This Sunday, my water heater elements went out, and of course when I put in the service request, AHS again routed it to these idiots. They called on Monday to set up an appt for Tuesday, I told them I'd need afternoon and they said they would try. They called me at 11:00 and told me they were on the way to my house. I told them nobody would be there, as I'd said, so they pushed the spot to the next day with the same request. They called me at 8:30 am and told me they were on their way. Again, I said nobody will be there unless I know ahead of time. She then told me she'd have to push until Monday. I told her that is unacceptable- they need to be able to give a service window before they show up if they want anyone to be there. I ended up letting them keep my $75 and canceling the work order to get a company that os not absolute garbage. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Will for Service Contractors Plumbing just fixed a broken garbage disposal for me. Showed up when they said they would and got it knocked out fast. He also unclogged my bathtub for free which has been draining slow for awhile now. So my experience was alot different then the rest I've read. Thank Will!
