For over four decades, Kevin Comerford and his family have been fulfilling the heating and air conditioning demands of Northern California residents. In 1994, Kevin earned his degree from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. After graduation, he returned to work in his family's air conditioning and heating business. After running the business for 25 years, his parents sold it to a major corporation based in Dallas, TX. He spent six years with that corporation before choosing to exit the corporate world and create a family-oriented, client-focused business similar to his parents' in 1972. As a result, he launched Service Champions in 2002. With these principles at the forefront, Kevin's business has expanded to over 200 team members and has been operating for 18 years. Currently, Service Champions provides services to homeowners in the San Francisco Bay Area (East Bay), South Bay, and Sacramento.

Kevin makes his home in Pleasanton, CA, alongside his wife and three children.

I purchased an MVP plan with this company and eventually a new AC unit when my old one died. The sells representative made a whole lot of promises to my wife and I. The story changed three or more times depending on the technician.
Yep, you guess it. It was all lies. After they installed my new AC unit. I went outside to inspect my AC unit and immediately saw a huge dent that ran from one side of the unit to the other side. (They weren't even going to tell me) I asked the technician what happened and was told it was damaged by a fork lift when they loaded the truck.
Instead of removing that AC unit from the truck and replacing it with a new one. Yep! You guess it, they delivered and installed that unit in my home. It's probably damaged. Nor did they remove the panel and inspect my new AC unit for internal damage.
Secondly, I noticed my control panel was not the one in the catalogue from the AC unit package I ordered. The technician informed us that they had to order new panels because they ran out. Once again, if I didn't notice the panel, I would've been stuck with a basic panel instead of what I paid for. This is when I new, this company takes short cuts and screw over there customers.
For the last two months I have been getting the run around from managers and the GM. Who owns this company? You might want to have a meeting with your employees. They are a direct reflection of your leadership.
They schedule appointments and show up late if at all. Make sure if you decide to allow this company in your home, put it in the contract to show up on time. Quality service my ass.
If you request a call back from this company, don't hold your breath. You may get that call back at the end of the week just before closing hours.
I do not recommend this company. Please learn from my mistake.
You want a company that speaks the truth, don't take short cuts, return phone calls in a timely manner, have common sense and hold their employees accountable.
They were quick to cash my check but once they get paid, the services decline.
I wish I could give this company half a star instead of one.
My nightmare continues. It looks like I might have to seek an attorney for some advice.

We love Service Champions! They have been taking care of our heating and air needs for the past eight years. We've never had any complaints and their service has always been outstanding. We just went through a major project. From start to finish the process was smooth, efficient, and well-coordinated.

We scheduled our bi-annual maintenance visit and Tony came out to the house for this service. He was prompt and called to let us know that he was on his way. He even sent a company picture of himself so that we knew who to expect. He wore his booties (they all do) when he was inside the house - I certainly appreciated the courtesy and thoughtfulness. He was very professional and gave us a detailed outline of how our systems were functioning. He took pictures while he was up in the attic so that we could see exactly what he was talking about. It turns out we desperately needed to replace our heating and air ducts. He got us connected with the comfort advisor and we arranged a visit within a couple of days.

The comfort advisor, Stephen G., was amazing. He was professional and knowledgeable, and very personable. He provided detailed information to help us make informed decisions about how to proceed. Our master bedroom water-closet had no air vent so it always extremely hot or cold in there. Stephen was able to figure out a way to get a vent installed in there! (Yay!) At no point did we feel pressured to buy anything. He was patient and took the time to answer all of our questions - we had a lot of them. He also helped us with financing options.

A few days later, the work crew was here to complete the replacement job. The crew lead was Austin who was very professional and introduced himself at the beginning. He was attentive to detail and kept us informed about what was going on at each phase of the project. He found ways to make our system more efficient, for which we were very grateful. We also had interactions with Justin, who was also very professional and friendly.

This is a very professional and experienced group who really takes pride in their work. They are easy to work with and their service is outstanding. I think the most important thing is that they clearly communicate about the problem and what can be done about it. They take pictures so that you can see what's going on with your own eyes. This made me feel that I can really trust them. They've earned our loyalty.
