Leland Smith founded Service Champions Plumbing, Heating, and AC in March 2000. His goal was, and still is, to provide Southern California homeowners with a service that goes beyond their expectations. We believe Service Champions fulfills this commitment. We handle all makes and models of HVAC systems and provide unparalleled plumbing services. When you opt for Service Champions, you can anticipate a courteous technician, timely service, and transparent pricing.
In 1979, Leland Smith started his career in the air conditioning industry. He learned the trade while living in Kentucky, his home state. His brother ran an HVAC company and encouraged Leland to move to Southern California in the 1990s. During this period, Leland absorbed as much knowledge as possible and launched his first full-service HVAC company. He sold that business and went on to create Service Champions in 2000. Service Champions acts as a comprehensive service provider for homeowners in Orange, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Riverside Counties. This service is heaven sent!!!
I called after 3pm yesterday and the service representative was at my home before 10:00 am the next day!!
Geovanny Bonilla was as expected, handsome, neat, and very nice!
we found it was a more extensive damage and another team will do a complete re-pipe and will start the work tomorrow.
All was arranged with one call!
the company provides financing !
I've used Service Champions for many years and have never had a problem.
And they clean up after themselves!!
A plus in my world

Called them on Saturday to unclog a slow running drain in my bathtub that was spitting out sewage when I had the adjacent sink on. I asked for a video/camera analysis which was part of their special of $57. The plumber came a little late and tried to unclog it by snaking it, but instead made it worse as more sewage backed up and now no longer drains. He wanted to charge me $600 for a video analysis for Tuesday. So I'm supposed to wait for the analysis and pay more than what the special advertised. I didn't want to agree to that, so he left my tub worse that before (see pic). When I complained to the service line, they said they would have a supervisor come and do the camera video analysis for free on Monday. I took the afternoon off from work and waited for them to come between 2-4 pm. When no one showed up at 330 pm, I called the main number. They said the appointment got moved back to 430-630 pm and claimed that I got a text/call, which I never did. I asked for a supervisor to call back. The plumber from Saturday called and asked if I wanted to go ahead and do what he recommended. I told him I called and did not want to pay $600 that he quoted and that the company said the camera service would be no charge. Don't know why he called me as it seemed that the company staff don't talk to each other. The supervisor eventually called me back, and after some discussion, he said that he couldn't do a video analysis without a cleanout access, which the plumber never said and which I couldn't find. It was bad enough that things are worse for my tub drain, the sewer smell now permeates my house air, and I lost hours of wages from work taking the afternoon off.
But what I don't understand is 1) why did the plumber offer a video analysis when the supervisor said it couldn't be done without a cleanout (which he couldn't find), 2) why did he not offer the analysis to be done on Saturday when he was at my place, 3) why did he quote me $600 both on Saturday and Monday evening after the company said the video analysis would be no charge, 4) why did they not tell me about the delay and instead claim that I got a text/call notification, and 5) after the discussion without resolution for today, why did the supervisor not make any earnest attempt to come and resolve things?

When the kitchen sink backs up, you need help! Service Champions did a great job installing my new HVAC system in November, so they were my go-to for this job. Robert M. came the next morning to snake the line, and he was able to clear it -- but it became obvious to him that the problem was bigger than the kitchen line. He crawled under the house (which is 95 years old) and found that the oldest pipes (the galvanized ones) were literally crumbling into the lines and finally causing the trouble we've always expected. I am waiting on his estimate for repiping.

Erick Smart and Daniel listened to my concerns they made a few suggestions and quickly and cleanly fixed my problem
thank you Erick thank you Daniel great job

This company is outstanding. Our experience with them was excellent!
From trustworthy Derek who was first to diagnose the issues that led us to decide to replace our HVAC to good natured Angel who went over the quote, both represented their company very well. Because we spent more time with them during the installation our experience with Ruben and Omar was incredible! They worked diligently and exhaustingly and when there was a problem Ruben handled it with honesty and stood by the original quote. The two of them definitely went the extra mile for us and always made us feel we could trust their work as they were very experienced and knowledgeable and just so nice. We highly recommend this company!!

I signed up for Service Champions to service my air conditioning unit and heater. They came out and did a great job. The next day, the heater would not come on. I called them and they sent out a technician to fix the problem. The new tech fixed that problem but said the heater was emitting dangerous amounts of carbon and he did not feel safe in the house. Needless to say, he scared my wife. He said he would have his supervisor come out to check the system. The next day I had 2 specialists come the the house and spend 30 min with me. First, they thought the vents were not big enough to push the air and wanted to redesign all of the ductwork. I said we have never had a issue with the air flow. After a while, they noticed an additional large duct that was delivering the majority of the air and then agreed the ducting was fine. Then without checking on the carbon monoxide issue, they wanted to give me a price to replace my 4-year-old forced air system. They gave me 2 quotes 1 for $14,063.00 and the other $18,900.00 I told them I would look at options. First I bought a carbon monoxide detector and found it was reading a zero so they were wrong on first issue. Also, when the two supervisors came out they looked at the work the original tech did on the AC unit and removed a panel. One tech to the other, looks like a Friday 3:30 job. I said that seemed like code for the guy did a sloppy job and they both laughed and said you are correct. The other funny thing that I noticed is They call themselves Service Champions but when they gave me the quote it was on JW Plumbing Heating and Ac. They also go under Adeedo.
To summarize, the two supervisors were not there to find out if the new heater was in fact broken, they were just there to sell me a new heater. I canceled my service contract with them and will never use them again.

I've used both heating and plumbing. There's an 80% chance that they'll cancel on you. Then they'll initially send someone out who doesn't fix the problem. Then they'll send an ""expert"" who is ""more experienced"" and ""senior"". They'll eventually fix your problem, but you will end up wasting a lot of time waiting for the various ""experts"".

These guys are crooks !!!!!!
I want to warn everyone how bad and devious these guys are!! They send out $88 coupons to clear drain and then show up and lie that it's impossible to clear drain and want $13,000 to replace drain for a tiny 1 bedroom and one bath house!! And they charge you for the visit anyway. I failed to catch on the first time and paid to have drain redone when probably not needed and called with one of their $53 coupons (they also work under a different company name, Adeedo, so I didn't put 2+2 together at first) a second time for another rental property I own with a clogged kitchen sink. This time when the plumber came and called me on the phone and claimed the trap under the sink had a leak and to do the job would be $464.00, I realized he was scamming me like the time before. I told him to leave and I then went to the rental property and checked it out myself and found that there was no leak whatsoever!!
Following that experience, I called another plumber that cleared the drain for $85.00 and assured me that there as no leak!

Min was great! Very honest and quick with what turned out to be a simple toilet fix. Had a great experience.

my wife and I needed someone to look at our tankless water heater because we couldn't get hot water long enough to take a nice shower. Min was sent out to help us out and he did! He was prompt, professional and very thorough with his work and diagnosis. Min was generous with the pricing for the great job he completed.
