Post-graduation, he returned to assist in his parents' heating and air conditioning business. After 25 years, his parents sold the business to a large corporation in Dallas, TX. Kevin worked with that corporation for six years before deciding to leave the corporate environment and establish a family-owned, client-centered business like his parents did in 1972. Called Service Champions to schedule service for my tankless hot water heater and for additional service to have the Fill Valve replaced in 2 toilets, fix a leaking hot water faucet in one bathroom, and replace a leaking faucet in the kitchen.
Joe Decker arrived on time. He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He went above and beyond to provide the services requested. He explained the each service process and answered all of my questions.
Joe also did a home plumbing evaluation and made recommendations for future services.
I would not hesitate to recommend Joe Decker and Service Champions services.

I recently received my monthly CC statement and noticed that there was a charge from Service champions for $215.00. I remembered the name of that company because I used them last year to check out my A/C unit since it was not working very well. so I checked last years CC statement and it was exactly the same amount for that service I called the company and asked them why I was charged for another $215.00 and they told me I signed a contract for yearly service. i distinctly remember the conversation and I was never told that this would be a recurring yearly membership of $215.00 otherwise I would have never signed the the service agreement. yes it was my fault for not reading the contract but this is to let others know not to get sucked into something like this.
All service techs should inform the customer that this is a yearly contrac!

If I could give a negative star rating I would. I had this company come out and do routine maintenance on my HVAC system. I was told that I needed $2000 worth of repairs and that my system would become a money pit. The tech recommended replacing it at an outrageous cost of $32,000. The person who came to give the ""Quote"" presented himself as a technician supervisor, not a salesman. This was an outright lie. He was definitely in sales. I felt like I was predated upon, like some sort of mark because I am a senior person. They really pushed and wanted me to install the new system asap.
I did not do the recommended repairs or replace my system. I called another company to inspect my HVAC system and this technician found no problems with the system, NONE. No repairs, no need for replacing.
Service Champions is not the company it used to be, they are no champions, they are pushy snake oil salesmen and prey on old people.

I had an electrician from Service Champions come out and give me a proposal to install a new dedicated circuit for a fireplace insert inside my chimney. I hired them as they purchased Maine Electric which had installed a dedicated circuit for my wife's stairlift. The price was 5 times higher but the first job was 5 years prior and the new circuit required two outside boxes to get from under the house to inside the fireplace.
The overall install went well. The electrician however did not mark the new circuit breaker on the panel and left a gap in the panel as shown in the photo. I marked the circuit breaker with fire place. I have found Lowes sells a blank to cover these holes for less than $5.00 but Service Champions chose to leave the gap uncovered creating a major safety hazard. Anyone, including a child, could stick some sort of metal such as a screwdriver in that gap and electrocute them self. I am not comfortable opening the panel and have my electrician brother in law going to fix it next month we he comes to visit from out of state. Service Champions texted me about complaint after two weeks and have heard nothing back from them.
I will never hire Service Champions again for electrical services due to their proven lack of attention to detail and customer safety.

Although I had an issue a few years ago when they sent out a tech with NO experience in showers broken the handle and I waited a couple of months for them to find the part (stopped him before he broke the whole unit) but I still recommended service Champion to my daughter so when her air-conditioning went out she called them since she had a service contract. She lives in 100+ degree weather living off fans. Tech told her that she needed a new blower after paying $2,000.00+ and waiting days for Instillation, then the temperature control quit so now she is told she needed blowers cleaned at an additional $1,500.00. At this point my daughter lost confidence in Service Champion and called another company who told her that none of that would have saved the system, she needed a new system. When the tech drove up and saw another company's truck he had a tantrum and stomped off. She requested Service Champion to take their part and refund her The $2,000.00+. Besides the second company doing all the work which Service Champion did not, they were cheaper. Now Service Champion is back-peddling and saying someone touched the unit (no proof of that) which voids the contact. My daughter sent a picture of the unit which shows no tampering. I cancelled my contract, told a manager would call me, no call but text 10 days later saying they were trying to get in contact with me with no luck. Interesting, I received no calls nor voice messages from them. Also text did not have any salutation so I don't even know who sent it. You may believe they are so great just wait until you have a problem, your time is coming. Barbara

My old air conditioner went out called service champions for a new installation. They had problems from the very beginning making the unit cool to specs. During the first heat wave 105 My new air conditioner went out completely for 3 days. They sent out a service technician and found that the installation was improperly installed. Since then I have contacted customer service at least 12 times. They keep texting me and sending me letters from customer service asking me to contact them. I have phone records and text records to show they fail in customer service. Once you sign on the dotted line they don't care what happens after that.

Impressed with yearly safety service performed by Jeb on my HVAC purchased and installed by Service champions.

He arrived on time, very courteous and friendly. He looked throughly all the areas of the system and suggested year round maintenance. He recommended a mesh for the summer weather to cover the AC in the backyard.

After inspecting the drainage pipe, he felt it was blocked. He brought his equipment and cleared the blocked drainage pipe which I never knew was blocked.

Jeb was very clean and did not leave anything lingering around.
Very impressive of Jeb's safety service! Thank you!

I had an appointment between 9:00 ad 1:00 he never showed or called. I called to find out that my appointment was cancelled. I called back and they now scheduled me out for another week. Why I am being punished that they cancelled my appointment. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but after waiting 30 minutes I hung up. I am a MVP customer. I am a very old person and should not be treated like this.
