Kevin C. and his family have been meeting the heating and air conditioning needs of Northern California homeowners since 1972. In 1994, Kevin earned his degree from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. Post-graduation, he returned to assist in his parents' heating and air conditioning business. Following 25 years, his parents transferred ownership of the business to a billion-dollar corporation in Dallas, TX. After six years with that company, Kevin opted to step away from the corporate scene and launch a family-run, customer-focused business like his parents did in 1972. Thus, he founded Service Champions in 2002. With these core values, Kevin's business has flourished, now employing over 200 team members and operating for 18 years. Currently, Service Champions provides services to homeowners in the San Francisco Bay Area (East Bay), South Bay, and Sacramento areas.
He lives in Pleasanton, CA, with his wife and their three kids.

While they were here, I felt pressured into purchasing and installing a brand new system when the problem was easily repairable. I also felt misinformed about how many years my system has left.

Sean Goodman came out and inspected our AC. He was very kind and courteous. He was very thorough and answered all of my questions. He even offered to help fix my hose hanger that was already broken! That was so kind of him. Excellent service!

Push push push for stuff people dont need i have two companies working on my unit and i told them the diagnostic part is finished i just need the 88 dollar tune up. Then they go well the diagnostic is needed to find out whats wrong. Dummies. Whats wrong is i just need the tune up and you guys aren't listening to my needs by any means.

I had Service Champions come out and do a maintenance service for our air conditioner and they did a great job. Our technician Isaias was very detailed and worked very hard. He did a great job and I would definitely have them come and work on our HVAC system again.

First time using Service Champions but I definitely understand why they are Diamond Certified. Our AC wasn't working very well and I'm 7 months pregnant so I needed someone to come out asap and see what the issue was. Even though they were busy, Brian Kirby, our technician came out right away and was so helpful! He assessed the issue, explained it in an easy to understand way, and then laid out several different options depending on what I wanted to do and how much I wanted to spend. I really like their up front pricing and how easy everything was with Brian, even my dogs loved him! Highly recommend!

I requested an appointment for an A/C tuneup on Friday via Yelp and got a very friendly call back within 10 minutes to set up an appointment for the following day (today). My HVAC unit is 30 years old and wasn't blowing cold air. I'm getting ready to replace it, but was hoping for at least another few months service out of it. Unfortunately Xavier, my technician, found the capacitor wasn't working and the refrigerant was gone. Before proceeding with replacements and further testing, he laid out and explained a detailed estimate of costs. He tested the compressor with a new capacitor, but the unit wouldn't take any refrigerant. Xavier was very professional during the appointment. His thorough testing helped me make the decision to move forward with the replacement of my system. Service Champions installs Lennox systems and offers free estimates, so they will be one of the companies I consider for my HVAC replacement. My thanks to Xavier for his work today!

Scheduled a diagnostic and repair appointment for my air conditioning system with a 3-hour arrival window, and no one showed up. What a waste of time.

So far it's been a great experience.
Their technicians seem like a competent team that supports each other.
The technician made a first attempt to fix my AC unit; it didn't work. That's normal. He did a decent job testing and realized the issue isn't resolved. He called his teammate for support and suggestions. He made a second attempt to fix it and it was fixed. It was a tricky issue.
It seems like their team has integrity, customer service, and competence. I'm surprised because I don't see those three qualities often in the East Bay without a huge cost.
Because of their strong support team, I'll likely have them do my HVAC projects (e.g. heater replacement or mini split add)
