Since 1972, Kevin C. and his family have been addressing the heating and air conditioning requirements of homeowners in Northern California. Kevin completed his studies at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo in 1994. Post-graduation, he returned to assist in his parents' heating and air conditioning business. Following 25 years, his parents transferred ownership of the business to a billion-dollar corporation in Dallas, TX. After six years with that company, Kevin opted to step away from the corporate scene and launch a family-run, customer-focused business like his parents did in 1972. Thus, he founded Service Champions in 2002. With these principles at the forefront, Kevin's business has expanded to over 200 team members and has been operational for 18 years. Today, Service Champions serves homeowners in the San Francisco Bay Area (East Bay), South Bay, and Sacramento regions.

He lives in Pleasanton, CA, with his wife and their three kids.

Problems with water heater After three weeks and five phone calls to resolve the problem, finally received satisfaction.
The service technician that identified the problem,need for a part, has yet to call back with information on the whereabouts of the part. Was told this was a problem with this water heater, would be about a week for repair part.
Real easy problem to resolve with part, contact the department that ordered the part, not the service technician or service department, that have no
control when it was ordered or if it was.
This company has become a below a one star rating, for whatever reason or excuses this time with us.

After my review, which I believe was very fair considering what you charged me for a thermostat, I left multiple messages for you by phone per your suggestion. My son's AC went out and I told him to contact a few companies and gave him names including yours. Because you were able to get out there today and it was 100 degrees, you got the job. I did tell him you would be high no matter what was wrong. Sure enough he was overcharged for what they did. He was also told that what I paid for my thermostat was too high. don't take it out on him he was just being honest.. . You took advantage of me and then my family. That's a no no where I come from. I told him to stay at my house until he could get other quotes but he didn't listen and now he wished he had. We will both need new AC units in the coming years possibly sooner and guess who we won't call. I am about to retire and I will have all the time in the world to let people know not to consider your company. As you can see or read, I am still steaming. I see others on yelp that had problems with your units not working properly or the cost of the work. I'm guessing you thought if you ignored me I'd go away. I was willing to accept that I was overcharged and move on but not now. My number is in your system and it's interesting that a worker would know my story. You can call me anytime because you have my number already.

With the recent heat waves battering NorCal this year (2023), I thought it prudent to have someone check out my A/C unit. Service Champions was quick to respond to my outreach and dispatched to my house in short order!

For the actual visit, we had Ricky Williams as our tech, and I'm pleased to say that he did an amazing job! I have two dogs at home that probably need a bit more socializing (aka barking at everything in sight), but Ricky was able to take that all in stride and be as professional (and extremely courteous) as possible. After doing a checkup and tune-up of my A/C system, Ricky walked me through everything that he did and his recommendations for the future.

Here's hoping that the heat this summer doesn't go too crazy, but even if it does, I'm confident that Service Champions and Ricky Williams have got us covered!

So easy to work with! I made an online appt for an AC tune up. I received text message and email confirmations for the appt I scheduled. I got a text with status updates on the day of the appt to let me know the technician was on his way. I even got a little life ""bio"" about the tech. Our tech, Jaleel P was very professional. He patiently explained everything he was doing. He even chatted with my two kids while he worked and made friends with our little grumpy dog. Totally professional and friendly. Sean H came out and fixed my AC leak. He correctly diagnosed that my condensate pump outflow tubing was chewed up by rodents in the attic and as a result the water was leaking each time the pump would flush. He put in a new thicker tubing to make it harder for this to re occur.

Not sure where to begin, they were total rockstars. They seem to really care about the homeowner and put in the hard work to figure out the most economical repair for my A/C unit.

I previously used another ""reputable"" repair company that took two visits (and $150 in visit fees) to diagnose my A/C problem. They ran into an issue finding the part for my (only) 8 year old unit. They told me the motor was essentially impossible to find, and that my only real choice was to replace the entire outdoor A/C system, at a cost of ~$7,000 dollars. Not only is that a massive sum of money for what is essentially one bad part that needs replacement, it's a massive environmental waste to replace a whole unit.

Service champions were my second opinion, and I'm glad I called. Barrett was prompt, thorough, and diagnosed the problem quickly. The huge difference was the actual legwork he performed to find this difficult part to find. He took the effort to make calls and secure the part, for thousands less than replacing an entire unit as recommended by the other guys. Not only that, but his second tech, Daniel, went way over what was required and used his spare time in the back yard to tidy up leaves, sweep, and clean our outdoor table. Completely over the top and immensely appreciated by a busy family with a baby and little free time at the moment.

Make them your first call, or you may be costing yourself time and money. Many thanks to Barrett and Daniel for honesty, initiative, and doing their employer proud.
