Kevin Comerford has been meeting the heating and air conditioning needs of Northern California homeowners since 1972. In 1994, he earned his degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. After graduation, he returned to work in his family's air conditioning and heating business. After running the business for 25 years, his parents sold it to a $5 billion corporation based in Dallas, TX. He worked for that corporation for six years before choosing to exit the corporate world and create a family-oriented, client-centered business like his parents had. This led to the establishment of Service Champions in 2002. With these core values, Kevin's company has flourished, now employing over 200 team members and celebrating 18 years in business. Today, Service Champions serves homeowners across the San Francisco Bay Area, including the East Bay, South Bay, and Sacramento regions.
Kevin makes his home in Pleasanton, CA, alongside his wife and three children.

We had an annual inspection and tune-up for our HVAC system which is included at no extra cost in our MVP annual membership. Bailey A., our technician for the service, was excellent. He was professional, friendly and thorough, having inspected all parts of the system. During his inspection he noted the return duct in the attic had partially separated from the furnace, so he ordered and scheduled a warranty repair. He also noted some other issues in the attic and made some recommendations which we'll consider. As a result, we are pleased with the service we received and believe the modest annual fee paid for MVP service is well worth the cost.

Quality, and we were very informed about all aspects of the service. The young man servicing our heater and cooling systems is very polite and professional.

Why did Service Champions charge my sister who is a Senior Citizen $4000.00 for a standup natural gas water heater that cost at most $1000.00 at Home Depot? This is outrageous.

This is my go to company to keep my house in tip top order. I trust their expertise and judgemen.

Dan came to check the furnace and provided recommendation To change our furnace. He was honest and provided a great service.

Quick, very professional, diagnosed the issue and fixed it. I strongly recommend them for anyone with their HVAC needs.

Service champion promise a lot, but delivery has been horrible. We've had them install a new heat pump system over a year ago, and had many issues with it. They have done an offensively bad job at addressing issues, sometimes taking weeks and weeks of me calling them back, being told they will get back to me with an update, and then never hearing back. I can't imaging you can do much worse than this. We will never do business with them again.

Technicians are just sweet talker but do not come on time at all. None of the service requested complete on time
MVP program is not god at all. As per MVP yearly tune-ups are to be done but they never come unless repeated calls are made. They finally came for AC tune at the end of summer.

They sent out a technician and a sales lady. Our 21 year old furnace stopped working. They gave us an estimate of $2,000 to repair with no guarantee. They recommended a $27,000 new unit with an additional $13,000 to remove and replace the insulation. Total estimate $40,000. We called another local company. He found a loose connection and the unit is working great. He said there was nothing wrong with our furnace or our insulation. Beware of these scam artist.

I had a very disappointing experience with them. They came to service my furnace and told me it was completely broken and needed replacing. After a second opinion from another technician, I found out the issue was much simpler and could have been fixed with a minor repair.
It's frustrating to deal with a company which seems more interested in making unnecessary sales than providing honest service. I would not recommend them and will definitely be more cautious in the future.
