Since 1972, Kevin Comerford has been addressing the heating and air conditioning requirements of homeowners in Northern California. In 1994, he earned his degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Upon finishing his degree, he came back to help in his parents' heating and air conditioning company. After 25 years of ownership, his parents sold the business to a large corporation in Dallas, TX. Kevin spent six years with that company before deciding to leave the corporate environment and establish a family-owned, client-focused business like his parents did. This led to the establishment of Service Champions in 2002. With these principles at the forefront, Kevin's company has expanded to over 200 team members and has been operating for 18 years. Today, Service Champions serves homeowners across the San Francisco Bay Area, including the East Bay, South Bay, and Sacramento regions.
Kevin resides in Pleasanton, CA, with his wife and three children.

Our ac broke and service champions was able to come out quickly and help set us up with a replacement. Oscar and Andrew worked in the heat and always had a smile on their faces. These guys were very communicative, honest, punctual, & efficient with the objective involving the insulation to our attic. Also, the insulation is well-placed out.

Minh L.I had leakage of my HVAC system that took two visits over two weeks to resolve. The original installer (3 years earlier) received my calls and messages but refused to get back to me despite promises. Service Champions was highly responsive and timely. The person I called knew just I was talking about because of the excellent notes they kept from a prior visit. I asked for someone who would be the most knowledgeable and competent and was delighted to get Anthony Gonzalez again. Anthony would have gotten 6 stars from me if that had been possible. He was caring, responsible, competent, and thorough in finding the cause and fixing the problem. A consummate professional who also has superb communication skills with customers, Anthony is a positive reason for my faith and confidence in the Service Champions MVP program.
They should spend more time training technicians and less time selling their MVP program. Had issue with our zoning system and told them that up front. Had 4 separate people out who all were friendly and professional but some who were clearly not trained in more technical systems. We ended up deciding to replace system. Their quote was 20% more ($7000) than quote from another company which has been around for70 years and was going to provide a slightly better system. I was told price difference was because they provide better service (not so sure about that as needed 4 different people for diagnosis) but would meet price. MVP membership states you are getting 5% discount. My advice is stay away unless you just need simple maintenance.

I hired this company to inspect my 18-year-old gas furnace and AC system. The tech, Dakota Brown, was very friendly, professional & thorough. I learned a lot about the present condition of the components. The price was reasonable considering all the work he did, including crawling up into my hot, cramped attic to inspect the air ducting. I highly recommend this company. They hire good people.
Naresh S.I had scheduled a tune up for my AC. Cesar came today and spent more than 2 hours doing a very thorough and great job. He checked all parts of the AC, ducts and even in my attic for any leakage. As a result, my system is now running 10-15% more efficiently, better cooling the upstair rooms.
