Charlotte L.I contacted the company to schedule an appointment for my furnace to be serviced. The lady on the phone was very nice. I did set up an appointment, after all. I was given a 2 hour window for the arrival time. I took off of work on the day of the appointment. Three minutes before the arrival time I got a call from the company, saying I'd have to rescedule because of the weather conditions. Yes it was raining but not hard enough to cancel. About 20 minutes later, the rain stopped. The caller also said that their servicers had a lot of plumbing calls. I explained to him that I'd taken off work for the appointment. He did not show any concern and did not offer any type of restitution or empathy. He didn't make me feel like my business was important. I told him that I'd contact another company.
John E.Air conditioning was not working in our home. After waiting 2 hours , the service 1 technician came to our home and gave me tons of reasons we should install a new unit. Their Trane unit cost $5,800. I read reviews online and discovered this company had alot of complaints on Yelp. I paid $79 for his visit and sent him on his way.
I found another company on Yelp - One stop pro. They came to my home within 15 minutes and suggested freon replacement and coil fix for about $500. Very professional , did not try to upsell their own expensive products. Ethical company.
Glad I did my research before.
Called Monday to make an appointment. The lady on the phone apologized that the earliest openings were on Wednesday or Thursday and that she would call back to confirm.
I had no problem with that.
Wednesday in the afternoon, I called again, asking when they would come out as nobody called back. Made an appointment for Thursday between 10-12.
Stayed home Thursday till 12.30. Nobody showed up.
Called again at 1 asking why nobody showed up. Got the lame excuse, we couldn't confirm as we had the wrong phone # so we canceled the appointment.
@#@#!@ WTH.....We set the appointment Wednesday afternoon for Thursday morning. I was home the whole time and you just don't show up????
Don't do business with them. They are NOT reliable!!
J T W.Love these guys! My 1970s central air conditioner was leaking water all over the kitchen floor in my condo; they sent their awesome tech Dave Kline out to take care of me this past Saturday night at 10 pm! Dave was able to troubleshoot and fix my problem plus give me some helpful ongoing maintenance tips for my A/C system--which no other A/C repair outfit had ever done! The cost was reasonable too (I only paid about $125 for this emergency night time house call)!
George H.Great choice of service for my AC. Technician came out was very courteous, clean, lot of information about what he was doing and how he was doing it. Vance was more than helpful. And very nice man. Will use your service again, but hopefully not too soon. Lol
Stacy H.I scheduled a tune-up for my two furnaces. One was rattling pretty badly so I knew there was another issue. Upon inspection, the tech told me the squirrel cage on the unit was barely hanging on and it was all ready to ""blow."" He said the second unit was severely rusted and the gas was only running intermittently. He disassembled both units enough to make them inoperable and told me I needed to replace both. He gave me a quote and said a crew could be out in a few hours. I felt like the quote was high (yep, you guessed it -- $4000/unit) but felt like I didn't have a choice since the units were now shut down. Once he left, I had a bad feeling and called another company. They had someone out in an hour who confirmed my furnaces were in bad shape but their price was $3100 (almost 40%) lower!!!! I called to cancel Service 1 and the tech asked if he could call his boss to match the price. Seriously??? You back me into a corner to replace my furnaces, you give me an incredibly inflated price, and you still expect me to give you my business? This tech sniffed out that I was a single female and saw an opportunity to take advantage of the situation -- same tech and same behavior as mentioned by another reviewer. Whatever you do, call any other company besides this one!
Kenneth S.a/c stopped working so I set a service call. The ""tech"" arrived looked around the inside for a few and went outside for maybe 7 min. He came back in said there was a short in outside unit which caused board to trip. He said the outside unit was shot and there was nothing that could be done.He immediately knew the cost of a new one. If you read the prior reviews, you guessed it $4000.00. Was pressuring me to decide so they could install today. I said i needed time, I called a friend who said that sounded odd so i called someone else. He came out jumped the fan and compressor which worked. The problem was a $1.00 fuse. My Filter was FILTHY so perhaps that caused it. The owner claims they explained it was only a fuse. They didnt. He said well there is a reason the fuse blew. I agree but you dont replace a unit for $4000 cause of a blown fuse.
UPDATE----critter chewed thermostat wire.tech never checked unit outside.just saw a chance to rip someone off on a 90 degree day.Shamefull
Tighe S.They charged me $4000 for a 2 ton R22 air conditioner. I was in a pinch so I gave them the go ahead. The actual unit they sold me and installed, is available online for $728

Toby R.We had an older unit and decided to replace it. David Raw came up with an estimate of getting a new Trane. Knowing nothing and unfortunately not doing any research i agreed. First they brought in a unit that was so large the sliding door to our pateo had to be taken off to reel that monster in. Once they put the sliding doors back on they never quite fit and the sliding doors never closed properly. After checking with neighbors i found out that they had AC that were half the size and do twice the cooling job, NEVER take a salesman by his word, always question never trust those crooks. I will call Monday but am not getting my hopes up.
Donna K.I scheduled a check up for my 15 yr old furnace and a/c......not having any issues with either. I assumed my a/c may need a charge due to its age. Erich came out started flirting with me from the get go; went down to look at furnace; I went up stairs. He came up and said the furnace was great. We went out to look at a/c. He took a cover off and cleaned out a mouse nest.....then proceeded to tell me I needed a new a/c. He said I had a leak, iced up A coil, and could ruin my furnace if I ran the a/c again. He signed me up for a new Trane unit (the only brand they sell) for $4111.00 which I reluctantly paid via credit card. It was scheduled to be installed within 2 hours. Called a few friends who told me to get second opinions, so I cancelled the installaation. Had someone else come out later in the evening, they checked the whole system, ( I had turned the a/c back on and it was running fine non stop for 2 hours before they got here), it was not icing on th A coil, they charged it a little, and I did NOT NEED A NEW UNIT. I had been scammed by Erich. Lesson: don't trust them and get a second opinion. Will never use this company again.
