last night i discovered a small leak in the basement, which increased by the morning. i immediately took to Yelp to find a contractor to fix the problem. Serve-Well immediately responded and Tom Schultz arrived maybe 40 minutes later. This guy! He's professional, quick, courteous and really saved the day. I would highly recommend Serve-Well for all of your plumbing needs.

I had a clog and tried to snake it myself to no avail. The plumber came by and tried a couple different snake lengths, asked questions to try to figure out the problem, cleared the clog, and provided instructions on how to improve the drainage myself. Would recommend them in the future. The final price was higher than expected, but the service made it worthwhile.

After writing about my problem Fred correctly diagnosed the problem of my leaking radiator. After a scheduling mix up, these guys came and fixed the issue. They also gave me tips on maintaining my boiler. I was also surprised and pleased that they did follow up after their visit.

This is by far the best plumbing company my wife and I have dealt with. They are honest, reliable, responsive, conscientious, quick and professional. Their cost was the best we have gotten at no compromised to their service. Very very good work! I don't know how they don't have more ratings. It's hard to find a good plumber in NY but this company are terrific. They even called me after to job to follow up to see how our boiler was working. If you are fortunate enough to stop on their page, don't look any further, trust me! It doesn't get better than this company.

Our boiler did not turn on. Upon contacting Serve-Well Plumbing & Heating via email, a very quick response was received. Tom was extremely helpful, pleasant, punctual, a total professional. He inspected the boiler, explained the issue and provided an estimate. We had him service the boiler right then and there. Post servicing the boiler, he offered clear instructions on what we should do to help keep it running efficiently. We are very, very happy with the top notch service provided. Serve-Well Plumbing & Heating are now our go to company for boiler issues, and any future heating or plumbing issues that may arise in our home.

Called the office after another plumber stood me up. Donna was very courtesy over the phone, and called me back within the given time frame to let me know Tom could be arriving within 2 hours. When Tom arrived he was polite and told me exactly what was wrong and quoted me a reasonable amount. He was done within the time frame given. It's been over a week and we are very happy with the work Tom performed. I would definitely recommend Tom and his company for your plumbing needs.

This is not an honest company.

My boiler's hot surface igniter goes on and off. I called the office and spoke to Donna two days ago. I asked what do they charge for making a visit. She replied the ""big boss"" will be there so I should ask him. A guy came and ""tightened"" wires and said there is nothing to maintain for my boiler. He said it's working fine and charged us $150 for something that took him less than ten minutes. I called Donna to ask if they would charge again if the igniter goes out again. She sounded very annoyed and said maybe she'll give us a discount if it goes out next few days. Well the igniter went out eight hours after he visited and I called and left a message. It's been more than 24 hours since I left a message and no one got back to me.

They should make it very clear what they charge for their first hour and additional hours plus parts. I know plumbers are in high demand in the winter time, but my experience with this company was pretty bad. I felt like we got robbed because he did not fix what I called him for.

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! I came home on a Friday evening to a broken water heater and a damp basement. Given all of the phased openings and general uncertainty around Covid-19 my family expected cold showers until Monday at least I launched a request for quotes either way.

Tom and Fred responded to my request almost immediately! Then I had to re-read the message several times because I could not believe they would be available for this job Saturday morning (the very next day)! But it gets better, they showed up early! It's early Saturday AM, we have a fantastic new water heater, cleanly installed and the old water heater has been carted away. I can't say enough about Serve-Well, hire this team with confidence!
