Alex and Chris from Serrano Plumbing replaced my rusty 75-gallon Bradford White gas water heater with a Rheem model. A note for anyone shopping around: the Rheem heaters available at big box stores can differ from the Rheem models that plumbers can get, with possibly more durable parts. I don't know the specifics but be aware it's not a straight comparison in some cases.

The Serrano team stayed in touch and arrived on time, which might seem like a low bar, but it's something not all plumbers manage. They didn't try to upsell me on a tankless model, which wouldn't have made sense for my situation. They were polite and great to work with. If you have a large water heater like my 75-gallon, it's a two-person job to remove it, so expect to pay more to hire two plumbers if you're in this situation. All in all, their prices were fair, and the service was excellent. I'd use them again.

The owner, Chris is nothing short of a saint. I'm listing my home and the day before our first showing my washer valve was leaking. A fellow contractor called him to stop by. Our hot water heater has been out for 4 days now. It's under warranty and we've called Chris more than once and no response. We have even ordered parts from the manufacturer that arrived today. Called him again, still nothing. Not happy! He put the water heaters in 2018 and it has a 6 year warranty.

I worked with Chris Serrano and I was satisfied to the fullest for his quick responsiveness , Honesty and integrity. He knows his plumbing . I got my plumbing leak fixed and the got the entire bathroom shower plumbing done upstairs in my house. His charges are very reasonable. Highly recommend this company!

Chris and son Alex were fantastic. I had my water heater pipes leak and cause a flood in my bathroom, hallway, part of my bedroom and extra closet. The job was done in 2 parts. Chris 1st fixed the water heater pipes so that drying of the floors could begin. When that was all done, he came back with Alex and put in a new water heater because the old ones tilting and about fall to the ground. Chris also put new guts in my toilet because he noticed it's continued running. I'm very pleased with the work that was done. I had gotten 2 other quotes from other plumbers a lot higher that what Chris said. I'd call him back any time.

Chris was the only plumber who accommodated my emergency need for a plumber next day.

When his other appointment was cancelled he called back immediately and said he would arrive in 30 minutes.

He got here promptly, fixed the problem showed me the new quality (metal instead of plastic) part he replaced the old cheap broken part with. Then he offered helpful advice on keeping the problem from happening again.

He located the central water shut off switch for my part of the complex upon my request.

In random conversation, I found out he has 20 years plumbing experience. I noticed his humble and knowledgeable pride in his work and taking care of his customer's needs and concerns.

Cost was a bit lower than other plumbers.
