Dave is not only an excellent plumber, but he is an excellent person. I had a different plumbing company come out before Dave for an emergency call, and they quoted me $3,000 for a job I didn't even need.

I had a plastic flower pot stuck in my sewer causing a backup, which we found out through the original plumber running a camera through it. The original plumber used a hydrojet instead of a snake. Upon discovering the blockage, the original plumber said I had two choices. One choice was to attempt pushing the debris to the street and making it the city's problem BUT there is a 50/50 chance that it would get stuck according to him. OR he said he can try to push it into the front yard, dig up the pipe, cut it, and replace it... for $3,000. He said he couldn't snake it, which will be an important detail later. He was trying to sway me into paying him for the $3k job.

I paid him for his work and sent him on his way suspecting that he was trying to nickel and dime me. I immediately called Dave, and had him come out. Dave found a cleanout the first plumber never even knew about and snaked the sewer line - problem solved for a small fraction of what the original plumber wanted.

Dave is a good and honest plumber, and absolutely someone you can trust. The world needs more people like Dave.
