These guys were amazing. This is the first septic system I've ever had to deal with, and it's old and rather mysterious to boot. So you can imagine the extra level of horror when I discovered black water overflowing up out of our basement bathtub and toilet one Saturday afternoon!

I called one service that had ""emergency services"" on their page - well, if you need me to call back on Monday morning just to schedule, you don't have emergency service. My second call was to Septic Response, who answered immediately, told me what to do, and promised to come the following morning.

True to their word, a team arrived mid-morning on Sunday, located the system, removed the blockage that caused the backup. But they also took the time to explain everything to us - where things drained, possible issues given the age of the system, what we need to do to maintain it, and, yes, suggested a way to fix it up such that we wouldn't have such a problem accessing it next time. They were fantastic and very patient with us.

The bill was about what you'd expect, but not insane for an emergency service, and at no time did I feel any attempt to upsell or misrepresent - they were so patient showing my husband and myself everything they were seeing and what it might mean, and it all made sense. A+.

World class support and service. Very friendly, responsive, and looking out for his customers. I had Anthony scheduled to come out the next day because my septic alarm was going off. He suggested some ways in which I could prep for his arrival in order save a myself a little money. We texted/called throughout the day. I couldn't be happy with the service I received. I called at 1pm and Anthony was there first thing the next morning. Anthony is a great guy. This is my first septic system so I had a number of questions, Anthony explained them and was quick at to work. He pointed out issues that were missed 6 months earlier. He gave me some good system recommendations (that I could do myself) to improve my aging system. I would call him back the second I think I have a problem with my system in the future.

I called Septic Response regarding a septic tank pumping that I needed to do. Anthony answered the phone while on a job and asked me to text him instead. I did that and Anthony replied after getting some free time to set up an appointment.

Upon arrival Anthony explained about the 2 compartment tank system I have and showed me what needed to be done. He also pointed out a few issues that he saw, while not something that I needed to take action immediately but something I should be aware of.

Some issues that he found was that I did not have a real outlet baffle and filter. He did not have those available at the time and promised to come back later to have them installed, and surely he did.

Overall I think Anthony did an excellent job in both pointing out issues as well as explaining why those were an issue and what I should do. He also kept in constant communication with me with regards to whether he received the baffle and filter from his supplier and when he will be able to make to my place for the 2nd visit and install them.
