I operate a fishing lodge and this is the high season. We had a major plumbing issue and I called Sentury. They said they could be here in 5 days, a long time but I said let's do it. I called the day before to confirm. The plumber never showed up. I never got a call from them to explain why they didn't show up, to reschedule or anything. As if they didn't want me bothering them. Their wishes will be honored. What a horribly run place.

Do not rely on this company to show up or even respond after making an appointment. My tankless water heater is leaking from the ceiling intake valve Due to THEIR POOR INSTALLATION and now that they have their $$$, they are not interested in correcting their mistakes. Made an appointment and waited 4 hours with no call to let me know they were NOT showing up. Then no callback from any of my 3 messages. I finally reached someone 3 days later(!!!) and requested a call from a tech so I could ask a quick question but predictably -no callback! Just save yourself a lot of frustration and go a reputable company who values their customers.

Had a new house built and the only problems we had were these guys. They installed the wrong valves, forgot to plumb the island. Did the sump pump wrong numerous times. they have had to tear up drywall to repair things done wrong and now have done a horrible job repairing the drywall. If I do have an issue it takes them forever to show up or even answer a message. When they put the gas line to the back yard the guy did not even ask or look at plans so he knew where it goes. When I told him he was putting it in the wrong place he gave me major attitude. We got a special water heater and they didn't even bother looking at specs to install it now it needs to be fixed. Do not hire them.

The sink faucet in our new house, less than 2 years old, began to leak. Called Palomar, the builder. They notified the sub contractor, Sentry, and they came out and had to replace the entire faucet assembly. Today I received a bill for $95 (labor) to replace the faucet. Bullshit. This should have been replaced under warranty. Don't use these scammers.

Would give them 0 stars if possible. I've been waiting 1 1/2 months for a Fire Sprinkler Design for my Building Permit, and then find out from the Manufacturer of the equipment that Sentry NEVER submitted my project for design. Add to that Sentry's communication is very poor - of the 24 times I've called them, yes I kept track, they never returned my calls or emails, I only got to speak to them if I contacted them. I don't like being lied too, I would not recommend Sentry Plumbing for Fire Sprinkler Design.

The man who drives the truck that has the licence plate 81558A2 was beating his kid so hard and screaming about ringing his neck so loud that it woke us up at 10pm. We live kitty corner from him. We knocked to confront him and were told that the kid ate his Valentines candy to deserve it. You can't have unstable people like that driving your company car. I'll change the rating when I get a reply.

These clowns showed up for the job totally unprepared and unprofessional. By their own admission, they had no knowledge of the scope of work. Zero communication from owner. I attempted 6-8 times to contact owner Dave prior to start, he never returned my calls. Billed $200 per hour per man. Has yet to provide a warranty for parts, and guarantee for work preformed. These guys are not certified plumbers. Could have done a better job myself.

Having just dealt with a few other local fire protection companies it was a huge relief when I finally called Sentry and they came in and not knowing the house came in and told me what was wrong with my system and fixed it and did a clean job and very professional!

My family has used Sentry Plumbing for over a decade, and Dave and his crew have been nothing but professionals and have always guaranteed their work.

I bought my first home a few years ago, and was having an issue with the sink drain in my kitchen on one side dripping water inside the cabinet, and onto the floor. I contacted Sentry Plumbing that evening, and the next morning someone was looking at the drain, and fixing it.

When I lived in Chico while going to Chico State in 2006, there was a company called Sentry Plumbing & Fire Protection off Guill Street, and they do have a reputation for being an awful company. However, Dave and his crew in Redding are not affiliated with that company and have been in business for over 16 years in Shasta and Tehama counties, so I'm not sure if this is the company Melissa D. used, but since all of her reviews have been of Butte County businesses, I believe this may be who she contacted, and it doesn't appear they have a Yelp page, but can be located on the Merchant Circle website.
