Worst ever service, they said I needed a new unit but could not tell me what was wrong with the old unit. Would not call back and were a week late for service call.
Buyer be ware

1st when the mechanic showed up he was kind enough but he didn't know how to work his own equipment. So he spent some time just trying to figure out how to turn it on. Then I felt he wasn't fully knowledgeable of our system even though we called ahead several times to discuss pricing and the equipment needing serviced. He noticed a leak had formed after he was done with the flush so he wrapped white tape around it to fix the leak. I checked later that evening and there was water all over the wooden floor. I called them back to come fix the leak that had been created after they serviced it. They came the next day but not in any hurry. A different tech. showed up again friendly enough. He put in a new washer cost of about 10 cents. Leak was fixed. I asked him do you usually charge for fixing a leak created by having it serviced and he assured me NO not usually. I calculated the miles and time they where here and again rounding up on miles and hours here and it was a TOTAL OF $147.49!!!! A week or so later I got a bill for $458.24 which included WAY WAY MORE HOURS than they were here for!!! I called them back and they said they don't have any dishonest technicians and got defensive instead of actually caring to fix the problem. He later sent a letter saying the same thing and removing 30mins off the bill due to the tech's inability to work his equipment (water pump). I calculated the bill in total including all the time they spent even ROUNDING UP and to and from miles and again IT WAS WAY WAY OFF. His letter contradicted what he said on the phone to me. My wife called and he dodged her calls several times when asking to resolve this SCAM and speak to the boss. He promised to call back and email and he took his time or never did until we called first because I want this matter resolved. We have 2 kids we both work we are both honest hard working people. He later had the boss's wife call instead of the boss and she yelled and argued and threatened to report us to collections and put a lien on our house. My wife was now crying at this point after the company had HUNG up on her. BTW we went to yelp and other review websites and FOUND NEARLY IDENTICAL ISSUES, INCLUDING THE SAME VERBIAGE AND THREATS THEY USED ON SEVERAL CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!!! We reported them to the better business bureau (BBB) They started haggling prices with her and just to be done with THIS HIDEOUS SCAMMING company we agreed to pay $237.47 PLEASE PLEASE DONT USE THIS COMPANY EVER FOR ANYTHING!!! TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO NOT USE THIS SCAMMING company!!!!!!!!!! I am not the only 1 they SCAMMED. Looks like over 5 other people so far!!!!!!!

We have owned two homes with boiler systems and have used this company for 10 years. While satisfied initially, in recent years have experienced less knowledgeable technicians, unethical billing procedures, and extremely unprofessional and demeaning conversations with management.
Our most recent go-around, a tech was sent to repair our boiler, which was not remedied after three hours. Subsequent returns did not fix the problem. Replacement of certain parts were unnecessary. We were billed for hours of time the tech spent on-call training himself with the manufacturer. For three months this technician visited and we are not confident the issue is resolved, as it is now summer. In total, we were billed 20 hours. We attempted compromising with management, having several incredibly rude and disappointing communications with Chuck Fulks.
We feel confident this particular Sentinel Mechanical technician was unqualified to repair our system, and our unreasonable bill is the result.
After 10 years, never again will we call Sentinel Mechanical.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Wow. Where do I begin? I called this company to come out to my house to look at my ground source heat pump which stopped working. I was not impressed with the guy they sent out at all. Nice fellow, but got the strong impression that he was not very knowledgeable about GSHP. Not to mention he was 1/2 hour late to the appointment. I was very shocked when 3 weeks later, I receive a bill for $280, claiming 3.5 hours of labor! He was at my house for a total of 1 1/2 hours, which is still a lengthy time to look at a 20 year old heat pump that clearly needed replacing. When I called to inquire about the bill, I was directed to CHUCK, who promised he would look into it, but that he didn't believe anyone they employ could be dishonest in any way. Huh. I called back the following business day to follow up since CHUCK never bothered to call me back. Again, he blew me off to say he needed to confer with his boss JERRY. Called back a third time two days later, and was met with the same indifference. By now I had had it, and demanded that the invoice be corrected. I also let him know about the reviews that are out over the internet regarding the service of this company. Good luck finding ANYTHING positive. I should also mention that if you are planning on installing a GSHP in the future, another reason not to use this company is that you will not get any rebate from Missoula Electric Cooperative for installation, as this company is not listed as a qualified company through bpa.gov.

Decent plumbing, the on site plumbers were hard working nice guys, but an absolute scam on the billing and management. When the job was done they billed an additional 40% over the original bid. They never produced any change of work orders made during the job, and never communicated that they were going over the original bid price at any time during the job. When approached for an explanation after the final bill was received they immediately started threatening to place a lien on the property, had no change of work orders to show, and were extremely rude and disrespectful the entire time. Jerry, the owner, is a real piece of work, he seems to encourage his staff to belittle and threaten their customers. Never hire this company unless you hate yourself.
