The previous owner of my home use this company to do some foundation repair. Two years later there has been some shifting and I called them repeatedly to try and set up a appointment so they can come and honor their warranty for the work they've done. They won't call me back and are purposely dodging my request for an appointment.

Selvin Foundation finished my Foundation and they guaranteed their work for 10 years. 9 months later, I called the company to report that my Foundation was cracking again in the same spot, they came out and put some cement over the crack. That didn't work and I have called them over and over. They kept making excuses and lying. They promised to come out and never show up. I am still trying to get them back out there. Don't use them

Don't use Selvin Rosa Foundation Repair - A total of six trips and over four months to fix what they originally started. They were price competitive and very enthusiastic to start. The first two days they worked hard and fast. Then they left, and told us they would return to clean and touch up some areas. They returned only after countless calls and texts (and only then sporadically). First we noticed new cracks in the walls, then sliding glass door would not lock, then the glass door shattered. The repair to the cement where they dug a hole, was terrible, uneven not matching the surrounding deck. We had to threaten reporting them to the Better Business Bureau before they finally finished the job. Numerous no-shows, he showed up with a black eye one time.

The first time this company did foundation work for us it was a decent experience - they showed up on time and finished the work in one day. But we were told we would need more work done within the next year, so we made plans to have them come back when we were financially ready. However, we have been prepared for more work to be done for over a month now, and this time, these people are impossible to get through to! My husband and I called multiple times to try to get an appointment, leaving voicemail after voicemail with no call back. When we eventually got in touch with someone, they went 3 for 3 times making an appointment to come out to our house and NOT showing up. We have to plan ahead for these appointments and it's extremely unprofessional and rude to keep leaving us hanging without so much as a phonecall. We will be taking our money elsewhere for the foundation work needed and I would recommend others to do the same.

Although I felt they did a good job with levelling the house, the concrete work leaves much to be desired, especially after I gave the owner two doors down their information and a glowing review. Several problems this time: Extra cement was put in our front garden. We couldn't figure out why nothing was growing, but yesterday my husband & neighbor found it, and dug up enough to fill a wheelbarrow. The city will not take it, so we'll have to break it up and dispose of it slowly. The workers drank beer and left the bottle tops and cigarette butts on the ground. Several large pcs of cement were left, causing me to trip and fall. Little bits of concrete are everywhere, no cleanup. Another area that had left over dumped was by the street. The took care of the house two doors away from us first, where the water was off, so they, without asking! connected water hose from our yard to theirs, using our water. If they'd asked, I might have said yes, but it was the owner's responsibility to turn on the water at that house. The hose pulled through and killed some of the plants/flowers we had out front. Then one of the workers decided to wash his truck, again using our water/hoses w/o asking. Selvin told me that the owner two doors down was going away for a few days, and that's why he did that one first - this afterwards, not before. I'd told Selvin precisely how we wanted the front steps done, both the same depth from front to back, but instead had one large step & one very small one. So instead of correcting the problem, getting rid of the large one and redoing, they added a little more cement to the smaller step, which is UGLY. Two toned. My husband was upset, said he couldn't done a better job. The sidewalk coming up to the stairs has a wave to it, where from the driveway you're walking up to the curve, and the around and back down to get to the steps. I'd said I wanted it close to the ground so we wouldn't have to worry about broken ankles if it was stepped on the side. We've had to purchase bags of dirt to fill in those areas, and purchase more when it rains. Empty bags were shoved into our garbage container, and then there was no room for our trash Another company that repaved a driveway on our street, had little mess, took all the extra concrete, and all the bags, sorry I didn't use that company. We walked down to the other place Selvin Rosa had done, and they had dumped extra concrete in spots in the backyard, forming heavy piles of their waste. The front porch is ugly, a slurry should have been placed on the front so it blended with the area underneath. Our third bedroom sinks at the entrance. Selvin mentioned putting in a cross piece under the floor to hold it up, as they'd levelled the rest, but we decided to let another company do it, or climb under and put something to keep the floor up and level. Received a call that sounded like Selvin, asking about our roof, (ours is new) and if it was him, I'm thinking that they're going out in too many directions and not doing the professional job they were hired for.
